Bracer on Str Carry

I never see anyone do this. I do it when I'm losing. Why not?

It's a funny one - it's usually worth doing if your hero wants a Drum of Endurance, but it's a bit of a dead end otherwise as you're going to end up selling it to make room.

I think generally strength carries don't feel like they need the HP, and their base damage is usually pretty good anyway, so they don't need it to last hit effectively.

Often worth considering on any hero in need of HP, but short on cash.

Edit : On a serious note, I often switch to Bracers on a Str hero when the going gets tough or a die a lot in lane.

Bracer is the go-to item when the going gets tough. Viable on anything.

If you're losing as any carry, I see three scenarios.

1. You're losing the early game because you're not getting farm due to all sorts of reasons.
Solution: Leave your lane. Bracer won't help you get farm.

2. You're losing the mid game because the other team is rolling your team.
Solution: It is clear that your team is inadequate at dealing with the midgame - with or without you. At this point, the fault probably lies in your draft, the early game, or bad teammates. Bracers?

3. You're losing the late game because you're getting outcarried.
Solution: Sell your bracers and buy a Force Staff, so you can counter their fountain camping.

People get bracers for the stats. Agi carries love stats and Str carries love levels.

I completely agree however to get them when you fall behind since they are incredibly cost efficient

That is kind of a general statement but it was a general question

I usually get a Bracer on a strength hero then upgrade it to a Drum of Endurance, if no one in my team is going to get it.

Drum of Endurance can be useful on just about every hero.

^this... the item is affordable, and every hero can benefit from increased stats.

I usually get bracer for str heroes who needs stat for their mana pool(re:ck,kunkka,sven,etc) and sometimes upgrade it into drum of endurance.The charges itself helps during war,trust me!
