Simple question...

Like if I have an Abyssal blade....

100 BONUS physical damage right?

and I have 15 % life steal...

Will that convert 15/100 damage in to health?

Crit does not work with that bonus physical damage either now does it?

The way I currently interpret it is that crit works with bonus physical damage, but life steal does not...

But that overall, life steal still works on the base damage that was doubled from critical strike...

You get life steal for the damage you do, your life steal does not care were you got the damage from. If you get an MKB or in your example Abyssal Blade the extra damage will give you life steal.
My lone druid starting items are 12 Iron wood branches, 6 for the hero and 6 for the bear. Even if the bear does not get stats more twigs are OP on any hero.

I think that, right there, is the most disappointing aspect of this game....

as you might have read my conclusion that I needed to play dragon knight to achieve the concept I wanted to...

A.) He doesn't have a life leach ability of any way or form

B.) He doesn't have any ias ability of any way or form

C.) He doesn't have any damage % enhancement of any way or form

Therefore, my conclusion is that life steal, as in any of the helms, was simply not meant for this character, even though helm of the dominator is progressively built with a useful helm with out the need of a recipe...

You don't want vlads on him because it doesn't help your dragon...

I thought MoM was good on him but it semss only so if you are underneath your tower...

The only thing that really makes any sense on this character seems to be strength....

Just non stop relentless accumulation of strength, since you don't want life regen and you still need to be offensive... ( I just can't be offensive enough when I start with any life regen items... not to the point of making myself a target to use blademail on.)

I also want to ask another question...

The more strength that I have, considering I am a strength hero, the more life regen that I have, correct?

Strength gives HP and HP regen to any hero, but it also gives damage to strength heroes.

But don't some heroes get more strength or life/regen per level then others?

Or per strength point?

STR points will give a limited amount of extra hp regen (0.03(?)), this amount will not change depending on heroes. Tho some heroes start with more base hp regen like Nyx Assassin (3.2hp/sec)

More strength does = more regen, but it doesn't make any difference if that's the hero's primary attribute (only effects damage). Attack speed is also a big issue for dragon knight, although you need raw speed rather than agility.
