Flat Magic Damage Block (The Counter to Blademail)

Dota 2 sucks because there is no counter to blade mail perse

It needs a flat PURE damage block item

Pure damage would never technically drop off

3x ring of health

stats

18 life regen

50% chance to block 50 pure damage

Or something like that

Blademail damage is not pure damage. Blademail damage is the same damage type as the source.
So blademail damage is mainly PHYSICAL damage.

And the physical damage from blademail is already blocked by damage block.

blademail returns damage as pure damage last I knew

No it was changed a long time ago
But you're right blade mail is a pain it must change but icefrog will never do that cause axe will disappear completely

go back to pure damage and do a life regen direction item with pure damage block like a tear drop

pure damage will still be good in to late game since no % pure damage reduction exists

Or blade mail could refract damage back at the enemy depending on class

Agility heroes get their attack damage refracted back at them as magic damage

Strength heroes get their attack damage refracted back at them as physical

Intelligence heroes get their magic damage from spells refracted back at them as pure

maaan its called pure damage ... thats why can't be reduced
