It's still decent on some heroes, it's just terrible on AGI heroes. Thing is, AGI heroes used to be the best drum users wince they are the only ones who benefit from every single stat (STR and INT heroes have no real use for agility).

And even then we're getting really close to the point where drum on position 3 heroes is straight up outclassed by similarly priced items (e.g Blade Mail, Ghost Scepter, Veil of Discord, Aether Lens, Vladmir's Offering...).

It still has a niche, it's just incredibly small.

thanks for all imputs...
I started this thread after building lance on lancer and it was pretty solid... I went aquila -> lance -> yasha -> bots -> manta -> skadi and it worked pretty well (to be honest,everyone just went some trollish builds since we played on lanparty)

Items like ghost or blademail do nothing for the team. The good comparison here is with vlads. Which is costlier but does have its pushing utility.
