Hello friends of Dotafire. I had this idea in my head that I have theme songs for heroes in our minds and I want to see if others have it too, as a nice little game to see our musical sides. Since I like to imagine these pieces playing as the heroes are in game, none of the themes in my mind are lyrical, as not to override the voice acting. I chose 5 themes for the heroes I've written guides on to start off the thread.

Dragon Knight:
This Chrono Cross piece called "Dragon Rider" and some versions "Dragon Knight" is my theme for DK for capturing a sense of adventure, while being slow and majestic like him, taking his sweet *** time in order to get anything done. Also, this kind of music is very suiting of a push that he'll likely be involved in with the snare drums to accompany the horns.

Abaddon:
This piece "For Crimson Air" from Melty Blood is my theme for Abaddon. It is very fierce and threatening sounding, with a piercing sound of violins turning gentle, which kind reflects his nature and character as a noble villain. It is also pretty fast, since Abaddon is a horse rider and tends to be rather quick.

Necrophos:
This piece "Slasher" (not Slahser) from the King of Fighters 2000 Arranged soundtrack is one I find fits Necrophos, since his backstory has him set up as a clergymen, so this is a weird creepy church-cult like piece that is dominated by organs and choir. It is also fairly quick, but also relatively subdued, kind of like Necrophos himself, whose contribution in fights is very subtle for the most part.

Oracle:
This piece called "Terrible Fate" from Theophany's take on the Majora's Mask soundtrack is the one I choose for Oracle. This piece sounds very menacing, diabolical, tragic, and mysterious, which I think fits him very much, since he's the evilest character in the whole game with possibly the darkest set of powers, and the prominence of bells is something that fits Oracle I think.

Sand King:
It would've been so easy to go Darude Sandstorm, but it's not the type of song that fits Sand King for me. So I got this piece from Mad Max: Fury Road, a movie set almost entirely in a desert setting. This version is like a much more intense Sand Storm and fits being in a desert more. The very dramatic and quick paced theme fits SK for his high octane playstyle, as well as the imminent threat his Epicenter proves.

What do you think? Do these themes fit? What musical themes do you think suit certain heroes? Share. Let's be pretentious together.

Well I am not that good with talking.
But when I here this music I always think about Witch Doctor. The way that he is a bit crazy and his attitude and how he casually murders someone.

This music defines Zeus if you ask me. When he is dropping bolts at puny mortals and enjoying himself.

Both of those themes are quite fitting. One is crazy and experimental like Witch Doctor, and the Zeus one sounds grand enough for his ego.

Also, careful posting on this thread, the database links like Bristleback seem to not mesh well with video links and causes a lot of your text to disappear. Try to avoid database linking, and you may want to fix your comment.

I'd say this one is rather fitting for Terrorblade, what with the electronic undertones and the generally menacing air, or perhaps this one for the same reason.

I think this rather suits Skywrath.
There are two kinds of people in the world; those who can count, and those who can't.
