Please put two towers in each lane on each side of the lane and cut their current life in half.. keep the same damage value

Then allow healing potions to be used on these towers because there's no way to hook a hose up from the fountain to the tower

Although, a bottle with a regeneration rune used on a tower would be the bomb with this design change..

Or just using the bottle on the tower and healing life exclusively for a higher value

because it takes the philosophy of "The best defense is a good offense"

And translates it in to what a tower should be "The defense is offensive" (considering it is ranged)

Towers should have just enough hp pool to motivate the temptation to go in and pick them off, but enough risk that you are probably going to die

Shooting as a ranged defense structure should be conceptualized by a greater output of damage then its ability to absorb damage

a bit more of a healing element option gets people to be more aware of towers


More structures to finish off is more reward potential

So what would be the gold reward to claiming theses mini-towers?
And do they apply to t1s or t2s as well?

I agree with Kyfoid. I think that the concept of exclusive division of damage between two towers is one of the best ways to bring togeether defense and offense and defend in an offenive manner.

But I think that you underestimate the impact of instant double boot initiations, which completely undermine the fortified position you just imagined and actually make pickoffs easier because of the damage spread (2 boots, 2 feet).

But they would counter heroes like Clinkz because ias and armour serve totally different purposes and they do not have the unity required to kill one of the towers.
