Have just watched the game, good thing I dodged all these spoilers like a pro.

Not gonna be malevolent about "SecREKT fangays" stuff, I'm just really happy VP made it so far, I was really underrating them.

This game made me feel desperate for Secret and hyped for VP at the same time. This is such +morale beating a favorite they might actually do it again against LGD. They got nothing to lose anyway, nobody expected them to go this far and to beat Secret, and this is the best condition to be into in such tournaments, usually teams have "a carrot and a stick", VP has no "stick" because even if they lose they will do better than expected. And the "carrot" is so tasty, beating 2 top tier teams is mind-blowing.

Secret just refused to ban storm and that killed them.
However, I think their problem is just sticking to their main heroes, they were afraid of trying other heroes they were good at.
They kept picking qop, dazzle and sf, but those heroes have been figured out and most of the teams counter those heroes well.
VP wasn't afraid to try out some stuff that isn't really in the meta, but they are good at it and it worked out great for them (Drow+visage).

I think LGD tho will be able to deal with VP. They played vs empire really well and all of the CIS teams have a similar play style (well agressive).
They dealt with them, so I think they will be able to take VP too.

We'll see. It's impossible to make any predictions whatsoever, if I would have been told that Secret will be busted in 7th and LGD will be beaten by a wildcard team in the upper bracket, I wouldn't believe.

Many rares will be lost in this tournament.

Anyway, LGD vs. VP here, and the start was shaky for LGD.
That first blood was fed and the Tusk only had 38 EXP.
Predictions?

And the pause is here again.... -_-

What a bad pick from Vp's side... their only chance was heavy snowballing because if they are pressured and initiated on their heroes are dead, there is no hero to soak up damage and be in front.

Well that was.... a total stomp
I'd say I'm quite disappointed, given that VP was the team that beat Secret yesterday.

I'd say LGD did a great job though at really shooting down Illidan,
and again, it might probably be because of a terrible Drow last pick against that lineup -_-

They let Leshrac go through... over-confidence(which is a loss) or a pocket strat(i hope VP ban Anti-Mage)?

That was such a clean game, I don't know how they do it but somehow Leshrac almost had no impact at all that game. It was amazing play (or draft?) from LGD, it's like they're somehow controlling VP into their hand.

Expecting them to do even better against VG later on!

Prediction on the EG vs CDEC? I've never even seen a match of CDEC (wasn't interested), and was brought off guard by them kicking LGD down to loser bracket. Any chance that's happening to EG this time?
