Also I actually think that loss was Secret being a little cocky with the draft, as the panel were saying.

That Night Stalker pick caught me off guard. I'm excited for game 2.

Well... That was a bit of an upset. Like it wasn't even close. Well played by EHOME, props to them.

Completely outdrafted and outplayed in both games. Especially the support play was outstanding from EHOME. I was rooting for Secret, but they were simply not doing good enough to stand a chance.

Still hopes for the lower bracket and a EG Secret finals tho.

As the wise and mighty Twitch chat says: SECREKT. In both games, Cty just rolled over them. Absolutely no chance.

Picking AM+SF really didnt work, and as amazing as S4 is he isnt a shadow fiend player. He isnt the kind of player that plays carries NEARLY as well playmakers and tempo controllers.

Amazing to hear the crowd shout EHOME. When i was at ESL it looked like about 80% were secret fan(gays) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I actually think Secret's success might have been there downfall. Like, coming into this Secret were basically the bookies favourite, directly off of there success at ESL, Red Bull, and the other one. And in the process of doing so, Secret actually revealed a massive amount of strats, and play-style and if anything defined the meta in the very specific creature it is now. (Big thing to say, but they had a really big part of it).

And it seems like, as at DAC revealing these big cards early might mean that Secret fall more easily than is expected of them. Like DAC they crushed 14-0 with the Puppey Junglers; EG just noticed what they made work, countered it, and cleaned up as a result. And if Secret burn out here, I think it'll be a similar case and reasoning behind.

I'm not counting them out obviously, they are a great team, and I imagine they'll bounce back, and I'm not trying to take anything away from EHOME since that was an amazing pair of drafts and amazing performances. I just like theory-crafting stuff like this, even if I'm probably wrong.
