So I've wanted to try a Armlet on Bloodseeker, just because the health gained on kills seemed good for countering the HP loss. But then I realized does the drain get amplified by Bloodrage? Because that woould be bad.

No, it's not amplified. The HP drain is HP removal, not damage. Bloodrage only amplifies damage.

Yeah, armlet on Bloodseeker is not bad. Only downside is that it doesn't do anything against TP scrolls. But then, neither do blademail, SnY, drum, and other stuff you see rushed on him. So yes it makes a good early fighting item.

Now that I think about it, when it is not a good idea to get armlet on bloodseeker? (Other than against AA)

Why would u get an armlet? I mean if you rly want to tank up and rightclick then build a freakin Sange&Yasha.

1. Armlet is cheap
2. Armlet lets you start dominating earlier than SNY (because of the lower cost)
3. Armlet toggling blyatcyka? OP


EDIT:
You can also heal off the self-damage from Armlet

I see. Still you would miss the movement speed and I don't rly like that item on non-strenght heroes. But it actually sounds legit
