Hey everyone, I got stuck in low priority again and wouldn't you know it, I randomed Warlock. Except, instead of my usual feeding routine, I actually got fed instead. Though what did I do with all this cash? I bought myself a fancy schmancy Octarine Core!

What I discovered is that the octo-core is can actually be pretty legit since Warlock does get lifesteal from things like Fatal Bonds and Shadow Word and makes him surprisingly tanky (He's already fairly beefy for an intelligence hero). Furthermore, he benefits from the item the same way that heroes like Necrophos and Zeus (and even Disruptor!) benefit from it, in that it increases the up time for his scepter-refresher combo.

Now, before Hamster asks me "Where did you get all this farm?" Lemme tell y'all something; Warlock is pretty decent when it comes to farming thanks to Fatal Bonds and the Chaotic Offering golem is actually very good at clearing creep waves and farming towers. Besides, I was a safelane farming Warlock, ergo, it was only natural that I obtain so much farm.

But, what do you guys think of octarine corelock?

Octarine Core is good on any Aghanim's Scepter/ Refresher Orb hero, because it reduces the cooldown of both your ult and (more importantly) of refresher. Of course it's good on Warlock.

And yes Warlock farms pretty fast with his golems.

Legit if u can get the farm (obviously). Also, as hamster said its good on heroes who have an awesome ultimate and build refresher with it, warlock being one of them would benefit from it immensely.

Oh yeah, Core Warlock is super scary if you can put him in a well protected lane. But where would the Octarine Core come along in the item build? Would it be after Aghanim's Scepter/ Refresher Orb? I would assume so.

yea it would come after, you need the refresher to make your teamfight as strong as possible. 4 golems at 25 minutes if you have a good game is extremely scary.
