Vlads Huskar

So since Vlads now gives ranged lifesteal, and isn't an orb, yo can lifesteal and use flaming spears. As an added bonus you have extra armor and damage, very important, and some mana to cast heal with. I don't see why you wouldn't build it now. Build would go something like : boots, armlet, vlads, silver edge, AC, heart?

burning spears isn't an unique attack modifier, so you can lifesteal with burning spears on autocast and say a morbid mask. If you want armour, go for helm of the dominator into satanic.

Well Satanic is a great item on Huskar that's not the question...It's just, you don't pick Huskar to carry, you pick Huskar to get early kills, push hard and go high ground before 25-30 mins. AFAIK that's the only way to play the hero that makes sense.

And Vlads helps a lot in a pushing lineup. So I say legit.

Don't forget that Dominator also helps a lot in pushing lineup by dominating jungle creeps. Neutrals like wolves not only make your pushes much easier, but also give you an easy roshan for even more push.

Yea you play him to push early, but vlads isnt really that of an amazing early push item. The damage aura early on is not great, the lifesteal on huskar is less, and you domt really play him like a normal pusher. You just make yourself as unkillable as possible, since the cant ignore you, that way the enemy all dies trying to kill your team, or they blow everything on you and then lose to your team. Provides huskar is good against their team ofcourse.

Besides you can get satanic extremely early since he farms extremely fast, plays from ahead and sometimes gets it straight after armlet dominator.

Hmm, not especially feeling it. He can make for a useful aura carrier, but I'd say early armour/HP is more important than lifesteal on him until late. Remember his base damage is actually pretty ****py, and you can't lifesteal from the magic damage from Burning Spear without an Octarine Core. Since most of his damage is magical until late, not sure this is all that great.

Exception is maybe if you're on a push focused team, with minions etc where Vlads is just good provided somebody has it. Personally, I think Veil of Discord would do a lot more for him generally - more stats, more armour, much more damage output.

The thing is that lifesteal keeps him better alive while at low HP, and you constantly want to be at low HP.
Just with a dominator you can farm the jungle at a rediculous speed, because you sit at 1 HP and every time you start attacking the camp you activate armlet. No hero farms so fast so early. And while yes his damage is low, his DPS is high because of attackspeed coupled with armlet damage. It also helps with soloing rosh which plays a big part in playing huskar.

Also plz no talk about core on huskar ;_; Its so trash.

I thought spears was a UAM. That's why I thought of vlads. Problem solved.
