Damn Terathiel thanks for making me feel inadequate. Kappa +rep. Also if you want to build a basher, deso, shivas Lycan he ain't all that bad. The shivas provides armor. Heck, get an AC if you have to, but he CAN be built as what I like to call "combat Lycan"
You guys do know that that is him literally word-for-word quoting a video, right? I mean it is amazing that he go that synopsis down so well but still :P. either way I +repped because that vid is hilarious and the topic creator baited it :P
Be honest I never play lycan as a split pusher. I'll usually play him as #1/2. You'll need a good reflex because he is too fast to handle, and good micro with those awesome wolves. one quarter of the kills as lycan are done by wolves, IMAGINE THEIR POWER.
Commonly I build treat and vlad on him, then I gef BKB/basher/AC in any order, depending on the situation. For extensions I'll probably get a heart/shiva/sheepstick, or a refresher orb in stash because double ult are better than one ult.
I prefer to play him on safe lane, not really a fan of jungle on him because the wolves are very useful when it comes in laning. While safe farming you'll want to scout the fow with wolves, if danger approach you should tp to other lane and try to conserve your ult because it has a long downtime. Down roshan whenever possible but you're not ursa so don't rush rosh with your ult, you should be farming and gank whenever possible, level 6 with unstoppable high movement speed will melt most heroes.
Lycan are best in 2nd intiation due to his short ult, so you won't be running away with 2 legs, which will leave you extremely vulnerable to disables. When your ult is downed, push when it's safe and farm when you feel it's danger to push.
Sometimes it's a good idea to NOT assist your team in a big teamfight, and push down 2 of their towers. When it comes to push lycan is really good on it and enemy will find it hard to stop you. Getting surrounded by enemies? Try to tp, or open both BKB and ult to run away, their disables can't stop you on the track even they have BKB piercing stun because with your tankiness and swiftness, you should be able to run away even being stunned for 5 seconds.

I saw the title and blew up :D
That was actually all from memory, so I think there were a couple mistakes.
IF I CAN BE SERIOUS
I don't really see Lycan fighter as that useful. His steroids: +30IAS, +30% base damage, and a 170% crit. Since his AGI gain is mediocre, and he has his ult for 18 seconds out of every 60 or whatever it is, he's not really a fighting Hero hence the 0/0/0 thing you should absolutely aim for. If you want a fighter Lycan, you may as well pick Doom who has similar kinds of steroids.
Lycan is an amazing pusher and should be seen as such.
As for how to jungle him, it's the same principle as jungling Enigma in that you micro away low-HP units. However, Lycan is much slower and will farm faster in a lane. The only Heroes you should really be jungling with always are Chen, Enchantress and Enigma.
There are two kinds of people in the world; those who can count, and those who can't.
Rohan in the early game gives your team a 1000 gold lead, plus the bounty you get for killing him. You also get a ton of experience. Admittedly, Lycan is not a good aegis carrier, that is better suited for your mid hero,vouch as Shadow Fiend
@terathiel
But I'll prefer playing him as a fighter, currently I have 100% win rate with him and I play him as fighter in every game. In my last lycan game I totally carried my team, if I choose to push instead of fight, my team get rekt, every time I joins the fight, the enemies get rekt.
Some may argue that he has weak manfight potential as compare with other carries due to the long down time of his ult and his low AGI, but so far as I can see lycan heavily relies on ult, just like void. The critical strike, unstoppable movement speed even being hexed are really powerful and he can melt someone while in wolf form, if you can't then you must have done something wrongly.
