Global starts are real boyz?

So one day(today, to be precise) I logged into my fun account to ruin games experiment with heroes and itembuilds. Lately I've been ruining with researching Nature's Prophet so I entered the match, instapicked NP, got bara on the other team(why do they even counterpick jungle Furion without even ganking him in the jungle, sigh), ans suddenly, Zeus, Spectre, Bloodseeker, Ancient Apparition, all russian, and all are determined to rek the enemy team with our global strat. I wasn't sceptical nor excited, I was just curious how would it turn out. At first it was good, I got some ez kill secures, we used our ults etc, but then we started dying solo and ****ing up our spells. Eventually Bloodseeker got his righclick, and I got my Ethereal Blade and Scyhte of Vyse and we wonned, and I was interested, is **** like that legit?

Probably the only way you can shut down that global strat is:
a)overfarming - global strats, with exception of those with Spectre, don't go late;
b) Night Stalker butt rape on first night - no ult no strat boiz.

You can also man up as 5, but you have to have Mekansm and Pipe of Insight to really counter that.

On one hand, turtle farming got nerfed, and you can't really turtle angainst the global strat, but early ganker are somewhat popular now as ganking duos rack up a lot of money for themselves.

Of course, they lost mainly bnecause bara got bkb way too late, lina was useless and we got a better mid-late game carries, but still, global strats are fun and maybe even viable?

It's definitely viable. But it has some big weaknesses as well :

- Garbage laning. Spectre + Ancient Apparition lane is a joke. Any good offlaner completely wrecks this lane. Zeus mid gives freefarm to the enemy mid. And whatever you put in the offlane will lose his lane as well (what do you even put in the offlane? Bloodseeker?)
The only semi-decent thing you can do is to offlane your Furion and play Bloodseeker jungle, so you can at least try to win your safe lane with BS ganks.
But whatever you do, any good laning hero will make your game unplayable. Broodmother/ Bristleback/ Earth Spirit offlane? Templar Assassin mid? GG.

- Zero lockdown. You're literally playing no stun dota. Any mobility hero essentially autowins the game. Pick Storm Spirit/ Anti-Mage/ Phantom Assassin/whatever, win game.

- Very weak teamfight. You just need to buy a pipe and BKB's, and essentially any lineup can teamfight you and win, since in this lineup Zeus is essentially all your teamfight. The most fun thing is that since you don't have any lockdown whatsoever, you don't even need BKB to play against this lineup, just tanking up works perfectly fine. You have nothing against that 3500 HP Chaos Knight with who can pretty much solo your entire team with only armlet and heart.

So to win you rely on getting constant global range kills on the enemy heroes, but then the enemy team can do the same on you with high mobility gankers, and they're not limited by cooldowns. And when comes the time to push and teamfight, the lineup honestly doesn't offer much against a team that's just sticking together with a mek/pipe.

So viable? Yes. Fun? Definitely. But likely easily countered IMO.
