And I must say (although it was a stomp) I am having fun this game. I really love how Alche can feed aghs to his allies. An early aghs Finger of Death is strong and won a couple of fights in the game. Blink+Spike+Ulti is terrifying really. Especially combined with Kunkka's AoE powers at one fight mid it was REAL scary. That PA did carry us, but.. she was building odd items.
This was yesterday and I must say.. Ipit isnt really the best way to show off 6.84. The most '6.84-y' I did was buying Silver Edge. It was a great game though with me and Drow Ranger carrying the game with our 'space-maker' Broodmother. I begin with dominating the early game with pick offs all over the map but I started dying when they started groudping mid game. Eventually I got a BKB and me and Drow (who was getting fat) won a fight top and the we secured late game with me, the frontliner, and Drow, the damage dealer. We eventually won the game. Enemy seems real pissed though.
(^see guys Drow can work in a lineup with tanky frontliners. But I think the pros will be competent enough to jump at Drow first, though)
IMO, this patch is currently incredibly unbalanced. My two first games:
-Alchemist farmed Aghanim's for Zeus at 12 min. He did 50k dmg in 1 hour. Our lead increased 1k XP per minute (We stretched the ridiculousness out for the fun) ^^ http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1435751424
Personally i have encountered lots of hate towards this patch, since it really turns the "meta" upside down...not necessarily because of the hero changes but rather because of the new items. Glimmer Cape, Solar Crest and Guardian Greaves are incredibly powerful and a have a place in almost any lineup. Due to their cost efficiency (especially) supports scale much better throughout the game. Also the new Silver Edge and Octarine Core are insanely good on some heroes. With all those new additions (and some hero changes as well) it will take people some time to get used to the new patch. At this point however, everbody seems a bit lost with the new strategies / builds / lineup-synergy etc.etc. so obviously many say that the patch "destroyed" dota. Once you get used to it however, i think that it will be clear, that it has changed for the better.
TL;DR: personally i think, that the patch has mad general gameplay much more dynamic and fast paced... which is a good thing.
