The new patch got me interested in new items on heroes to try.

I am interested in playing more Venomancer and also support Huskar with GG boots, its a strong synergy. Troll Warlord will be like "What's WAR-TORN, CAN'T BE MENDED", and I'm like "yes it can" *uses Mend*.

DK's buff to to his laning makes me want to run him mid with some actual confidence instead of cautious optimism. Something like Midas, Treads, SnY, BKB, Skadi/MoonShard/SilverEdge, Mjollnir. I feel like he will be a real carry this patch. I hope so. And with the Keeper buff, my friend and I like to run a Keeper DK lane in pubs, it will be even stronger now.

Then with Necro, a O. Core after Aghs looks to make him a terror, even more scythes, and even bigger heals with each spell cast. Bristleback might get the treatment too, lots of Quill Sprays, and O. Core heals for the "autorelease" spray too, have fun being unkillable.

And Support Siren got a giant buff, I think I'll play her more, going Boots, Maybe Medallion, Aghs. GG Boots if no one else got em. Support Wraith King looks more fun too, since now the enemies can't... completely... ignore you.

Lich, I think now with the buff to Chain Frost he can be a viable core hero. Perhaps solo-offlane Lich is in the near future? As for Leshrek, can't you just go mass bkbs, pipe, and every else that completely screws over nukers? Besides, if Lesh makes a comeback, won't this guy be waiting for him?

I think my team is drafting me a lot of Invoker and Spectre for this patch. Also drafting some Alchemist here or there and I'm being encouraged to learn Naga Siren since Radiance is OP as **** now.

Tusk and Bounty Hunter is back on the menu! Those and maybe Invoker will be played more. And Earth Spirit, just to test how max-stun build compares to max-silence.
This is my signature. This is my dotabuff.

You dont understand O. core bro cuttles. If you buy it on necro, you always get healed if you have skilled heartstop0er aura.
Always damage, dont attack, get healed, like a boss.

I think.
Or may be i dontunderstand o core.

KCnF, I don't have test client, but since Necro explicitly has his ult as "negative health regeneration" I can only assume it doesn't, since I have not seen anyone test it.

But if it does, time for me to start cackling, because my hero "Insect Lord" (in my signature), has had his ultimate imported to Dota in a form.

looking at the coding

octarine core only works on "Damage"

so basically anything that isnt included within the "damage" spectrum isnt allocated to spell vamp.

Necro's ULT is DAMAGE.

his passive is an AURA.

therfore it wont be allocated into spell vamp.

but heres the kicker.

spell vamp happens AFTER the final damage is done. so any magic amp effects ALSO affect your eventual damage so

SKY with his magic amp with shadow demons magic amp and then u necro ult.....

helloooooo full hp FROM NOTHING.....

I WILL DESTROY YOU ALL.... WITH FLUFFY BUNNIES

Necro aura used to be damage based on max HP, but now it's health degen, so it's not considered as damage.

I think a lot of people will play slark/troll with the new SB, also AoE nuker with the new ORB, it's so powerful that the Static Field will act like a Feast, Pulse Nova like an aoe Life Drain. Sonic Wave? Insta-1k Hp heal ;_;
