You get psi at 1 and aquilla from the wraith band you buy. No need for refraction at 1 with the insane damage you have at level one with a wraith band. Always max Refraction for easy early Rosh. Get aquilla, not drums. Aim for blink around 13 minutes with ancient stacks, and 20 min desolator.
It's really stupid to get psi at 4. Literally worst choice. Meld at 2? I don't get meld until 9, it's not worth it. Get 2 in psi blades because it doubles your attack range, max Refraction because the damage it gives is too strong.
aquilla is not needed since you dont need more laning presence, drums is better just to survive fights a bit better but you dont NEED it always.
putting more points in meld is situational against some heroes as previously said. i strongly disagree with not getting meld atleast semi early. since it gives more kill potential and disjointing of spells/projectiles.
i also strongly disagree with getting psi at 1. the beginning of the laning stage can snowball just by who gets his bottle or boots faster when played between 2 competent mids. not getting refraction at 1 is just plain wrong.

The only 2 guys you should listen to when you play TA or make TA guides are : Ferrari and Waga. Enjoy that 1 hour guide down bellow on why the skill build I propose is better. But I can already tell you that you don't need 90 damage at level 1 to last hit. 70 is more than enough.

if you look at their actual games, then waga has always goes refraction first and meld at 4 in his few pro games. and in pubs he still gets meld at 3 or 4 very often, but he does get psi first often, but still not always.
430 always goes for refraction at 1 and meld at 4 too in pro games, and he even gets 2 or 3 points in meld often before maxing refraction. and in pubs he also almost always gets refraction at 1 too, he never gets the second point in psi, and still gets multiple early points in meld.
DOTAFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new hero, or fine tune your favorite DotA hero’s build and strategy.
