How To Get Over Fear Of Flying In Airplanes

I'm so scared to fly, I think they are gonna crash. I get anxiety attacks. Anyone have a similar experience they've gotten through.

hell i love chinneys with the glass floor so i can see the ground :)

like u have more chance of dying to a jelly fish then in a plane

more chance of dying by suffocating in a tumble dryer then flying

more chance of being killed by a cow then flying

According to statistics, you should be scared ****less when going in a car or when riding your bicycle instead. It's about a thousand times more likely to kill you than taking a plane.

Plane accidents are extremely, extremely rare. Flying is one of the safest ways of transport, even safer than trains IIRC. If you ever die in a transport accident it's gonna be a road accident.

The reason why *every single plane crash that ever happens* is broadcast on TV is because they're rare and flashy. You don't see car accidents on the news...you see them with your own eyes.

anyways, hamster is absolutely right. plane accidents show up in medias and movies and they always seem so horrifying. but well, yeah they're actually right. but still, though they are absolutely horrifying the chance for one to happen is extremely rare. using statistics is not overcoming your real fear though but it might still work.

do you watch air crash investigation blubbles? damn show scared me. still awesome though.

And how to overcome fear of heights ? Im not afraid of flying,but even thinking about standing on the edge of tall building or mountains makes me poor little *****
