UnholyReavrz's Guide to Windranger 6.86

Introduction

Hello Guys, it's me again with a guide for Windranger. So I hope this guide can help you play as windranger and this guide focuses on Windranger as Semi-Carry, Pusher and Ganker. Goodluck ^^

When to pick

When to Pick
-When you feel like you wanna play as Windranger
-When your team needs pushing power
-When you there's no ganker
-When there's drow on the enemy lineup (Windranger's ultimate enemy) :)

When Not to Pick
-When you feel Windranger is lame :P
-When there's too many carries
-When your teammates makes you a support windranger
-When there's 1 pushing heroes in your lineup

Role

Windranger can be played almost places except tank and can be played in any lanes but I play her as offlane because it's where most carries lane.

Pushing
When you're pushing use you ulti so that you can hit fast but be careful when pushing you might end ambushed by your enemies.

Ganking
start ganking when you got your Phase Boots and Maelstrom, Gank mid first it will give you Much gold and XP.

Teamfights
Teamfights can be hard when you're Windranger because your a little bit squishy but try to be a hitter like Sniper and let tanks do their job.

Skills

-This skill is your own stun, Basically this stun need a tree behind an enemy so that it's longer that's why buying a Blink Dagger on Windranger is an awesome choices.

-This skill is your skill for killing creeps while pushing lanes, this skill deals a lot of amount of damage if it hits the enemy so using it as an last hit tool if an enemy escape is great except you estimate it like Meat Hook.

-This slows your enemy by 30% while giving you a 50% bonus movement speed so use it as an Chasing tool or Escaping tool.

-This is a skill why I really like windranger, it gives you a lot of attack speed but only on one target unit but if combined with Maelstrom, Daedalus, and alot of items, this can be a deadly skill.

Items

Starting Items

A great choice of healing you in lanes :).

+2 Attack speed, +2 Health, +12 Damage, and +6 Mana

Core Items

Since Windranger need damage Phase Boots is a good boots of choice for Windranger.

Your ulti + Lighting Procs, since Focus Fire gives you a lot of attack speed there could be a lot of lighting procs which deals 120 damage.

Well if you noticed when you ulti and then hit on a enemy the damage is f*cking techies' damage it's because when you ulti there's a damage reduction and getting a Aghanim's Scepter will make 0& while making your ulti spammable.

Even tanks would cry ^^ if you ulti on them and make them ragequit. ^^

Situational

If you really want a succesful gank, Blink then shackle your enemy when there's a tree behind him.

Get this if your going mid or you don't wanna go back to base.

Get this if too many magic that kills you when your ganking plus the extra 15 stats is also worth and 150% mana regen which you need.

Get this if teamfights is all you care and damage plus strength can be useful.

Late Game Items

Replace your Phase Boots into this so that you can help to push towers and enter teamfights when your away.

+50 damage plus the armor reduction to enemies is nice and it makes you attacks red to look more awesome ^^.

Upgrade your Maelstrom if you need more lighting procs.

Minibash + your ulti it, annoys your enemies and true strike when there's a Phantom Assassin or Brewmaster

Get this if you needed mana regen and silence plus the +80 damage and +30 attack speed is good.

If you're not contented to your Windrun as a slow get this it gives you +350 hp and +60 damage.

Be careful when you get this because most of your enemies will target you so that they will steal it but make sure you buy Satanic first so you don't die immidiately.

Again if you're getting a Divine Rapier get this, it's like eating a Cheese when you activate it.

Friend & Foes

Friends
-Supports that can Heal you in many situations like Omniknight
-A good tank with iniation skills like Tidehunter
-A good hard carry because you really can't go full carry.
-Alchemist - Free Aghanim's Scepter upgrade :)

Foes
-High Magic nukes that ganks a lot like Queen of Pain and Pudge
-Evasion Heroes like Brewmaster and Phantom Assassin

Before you close ^^
