I'm enjoying this so far! A bit messy for a clean reading perhaps, but funny and well explained! Please go on, so I might use this to as a reference in my own guide and upvote :)
Suggestion: wouldn't you think that, after stressing the "all is situational" thing, you could give in a little and assume that somethings, however, are not always situational? For instance, and using your own example, Ursa should probably never play without some form of lifesteal, because she becomes quite useless (even if you're playing her as a support - in that case you could go Vladimir Offering). Otherwise, with the fact that she must be at the center of things hitting the enemy, she will surely die each time. This is quite undisputed now.
The same goes for a hero like Zeus, who everyone knows can vary a little on his item choices but will surely always profit from an Aghanim's Scepter and a Refresher Orb, don't you agree?
I think this would make your guide really strong.
The guide is badly edited, everything is messed up and its not that easy or nice to read. Fix it if you can, it really made it non-comfortable to read it for me.
I like this guide its the area i am focusing on improving in my game. Hope to see this post get updated. you can bring in stuff like BF is a great counter for PL or MKB is great for a PA. Maybe a part for let say if you see the enemy team has a carry going for a butterfly, you team will need a carry to by a MKB to counter his item... if the need is there
