Introduction

First guide here, this is Faceless Void the keeper of time.
His role is a carry, probably one of the hardest carries in the game next to Anti-Mage.
This guy can do tons of damage if built properly and if you are farmed well.

Pros / Cons

Pros:-

-Very strong late game
-Good escapes
-Good initiations
-Easy to play
-Very fun

Cons:-

-Needs a lot of farm
-Squishy
-Easily countered

Can't think of anything else.

Items

To start, depends on what lane you are going for, hopefully you get the short lane. I like to start with shield, axe, tangos.
There are tons of items you can go for during the laning phase, but if you are the solo lane bot, you are going to want your jungler to stack and pull the camp so your lane doesn't push. This will allow you to farm much more effectively.

As for item order, what you will want to rush is a hand of midas, this may seem a little generic but this item is actually a very solid pick up on him and will keep you upto par in farm pretty much the whole game. You want to try getting it before 15 minutes otherwise it Isn't a very good investment.

The second item you will want to pick up is a Mask of Madness. This is the core item for you, and will actually scale very well into late game. You want to get this right after you Hand of Midas and you will continue to farm until you have a damage item.

Now for your DPS. There are actually a lot of choices you can go here. Some people prefer to get a basher for higher stun chance, but I like to get an MKB especially if they have a lot of dodge heroes. Another solid item you can farm for is a Butterfly this is a pretty good item, but I tend to get this after I get my MKB depending on their team comp, if they have a lot of CC you will want to get a BKB for the obvious reasons that you don't want to be stunned.

After you get these items you are pretty much set to go into team fights and demolish everything that walks, you are no Anti-Mage but you will still kill tons of people.

How to Escape

Alright, always carry TP scrolls, this is an essential for pretty much every hero, no excuses. It will take you 3-4 creeps which is 1 wave to get that TP scroll and it will save you hundreds of gold. When you see someone and there are many people missing on the map, you will walk to time walk into trees and TP back to base or into a safe lane to continue farming until the threat is gone, it also helps if your team buys some wards to ward the jungle entrance.

Creeping / Jungling

Just go through the jungle once your lane is pushed and as for creeping during the lane phase you are going to want to learn how to aggro the creeps. You can do this by right clicking on their hero, but not actually attacking them. So basically you right click on them, your hero will run up to them then you run back and the creeps should start following you. You don't want to do this when you are facing a dark seer because a good DS will put his shell on the creeps which in turn will actually hurt you a lot. You will need a lot of ganks for DS.

Team Fights

Alright, team fights...
Use these skills in order.
Time walk in, then you chronosphere trying to hit 3 people or so. Then you mask of madness and you MELT people. You should be able to kill 2-3, while your team helps you kill the people outside or if they are ranged heroes they will help you kill people in the chronosphere.
