I voted this up simply cause it's the only guide with BoT in it. Late game techies is literally one of the best split pushers able to supply his team a safe escape in one lane while pushing down a tower in another, he takes a match from 5v5 to 5v4+map when played properly and honestly, wen played right, the map is scarier than any hero could ever be. Good guide for everything else to so far.
Good guide however later you could add a map with good mine spots for example in front of the pull camp at bot lane is usually a great place or the sideshops, runespots... :)
The only problem here is that in DOTA 2 you can't select a bunch of remotes and make gropus of them,so if u have more lanes u go like bot lane-CTRL 1,mid-CTRL-2,TOP-CTRL 3,everywhere else-CTRL 4.
blink dagger - I techies a lot - and I use the same item skill build - you need a dagger at late game - reason - the stun, if you stun 2-3 heroes in 1 statis, chances are it has CD already, you can blink in and plant another, while planting your other mines, then force staffing away and continue to plant/attack. Your range is more than all heroes except Sniper and Enchantress (with aganims) also your ms is slow - so a blink dagger will help you get in range for a quick plant / detonate kills. Trust me - try a blink dagger on Dota1 after you have your aganims..
also, aganims allows you to plant a remote mine from an INSANE range - allowing you to defend from over a hill - in fog and plant. aganims is a MUST have. exact perfect build, but requires skill to pull off
in short - i love techies, can't wait for dota 2 techies.
I would almost never want a techies to go for Ultimate Scepter. I have always been a fan of a Techies who runs full support by buying wards and counter wards all game. It benefits him as much as it does the rest of the team anyway, so why wouldn't he? People tend to say Mines or his stun Wards are the same, they are not!
Add that to the guide and in the meantime, take this:
Use some sort of paint program and place the typically good Mine positions. It will help give your guide some flair. Also adding more in-depth walk-through on your play style during the different courses of the game. You should also know more than anyone how situational Techies is, a guide on how to react to these would be appreciated!
Also to let you know, Techies is not in the Beta at the moment. No idea on when he will be released either.
This is a work in progress, please please please feel free to start commenting and letting me know how I am going, what else I should add or remove. Thanks!
