Introduction

Hello and welcome to my Lone Druid guide.You need will some knowlegde of microing skill to controlling this partner Lone Druid is easier to controlling than other micro-need hero trust me.I know this guide lack of picture on it 'cause i'm don't know to do it(embarrassed) but struggle to make this guide perfect(maybe not). This is my opinion on how to play it so,try it first before comment my guide and for new user for Lone Druid,search for other guide if you found this guide may not suite for your playstyle. I believed that we can be whatever we want to be with any playstyle that suite to you.

Balances

• His attack is ranged in druid form but melee in bear form also heavy
• Has two heroes in one pick but hard to control
• Tankiness in Mid until Late game but fragile in Early game
• Easy to take down enemy due to additional hero but useless if one of them gone
• Can jungle but slow
• Small number of hero can counter him but any AOE hitter can make you trouble like Lich. Witch Doctor, Windranger, Sven

Playstyle

First of all,generally Radiance is a main item for Lone Druid but for me Radiance will take 15-20 minute to finish it that will delay some item and miss some awesome time and enjoyment.P.S: Orb of Venom and Quelling Blade is must have in early game.

I always want to be midlaner with this guy but,if there other great midlaner such as Viper, Invoker, Pudge, Ancient Apparition and kind of,give it to them. Go to safe lane(Dire:Top lane-Radiant:Bottom lane). If there's none of them present on your team so go for it because it will boost your exp. and leveling up your Spirit Bear faster.If your enemy hero is aggrassive one which always harrass you,try to harrass them back with your Spirit Bear.If your bear killed during this harrassment,try not to do it again.Your enemy will try to pull your bear to tower.Farming.Althought farming will make less money income it is one and only choice you have to get money safely.During this situational time,you will need Hand of Midas to boost your exp. and gold.After buying both upgraded boots for both partner,GANK.Go out from jungle to hunt weak target.I believe in this time your Spirit Bear on level 4.With your Spirit Bear's Entangling Claws,you will get an easy kill for lonely weak target in early game like Dazzle, Sniper, Drow Ranger and other squishes hero.Get your Vladmir's Offering and now you can enter a teamfight with your Ult. on and do not turn off except you want to refresh its benefit everytime you leveling it or save your life when being chasing.After you get some kill by your ownself,you will unstopable with Assault Cuirass at Druid self soon because killing some heroes by yourself mean you are getting stronger.Don't be greedy,it will cause your death.Give some kill for friend they will appreciate it.Easy to read,you'll need some time to make it easy

How this item works for Lone Druid

I also list down some situational item just in case you want a justification.

• Tango for basic survivality in lane
• Stout Shield to block some damage if you've been harrass
• Poor Man's Shield to give Lone Druid some additional agi. stats.
• Quelling Blade to give some extra damage deal to creep for easier last hit(give to Lone Druid if Spirit Bear reach level 3. Entangling Claws do not stack with it)
• Orb of Venom slow your enemy and make your chasing easier
• Tranquil Boots give Lone Druid health regen beside 90 movement speed
• Phase Boots make your Spirit Bear great chaser and if you lucky enough your enemy will stuck by its Entangling Claws and you will secure your killing
• Hand of Midas should give it to Spirit Bear that will give some attack speed
• Vladmir's Offering give Lone Druid more survivality during a fight and solo Roshan
• Skull Basher is great idea for Spirit Bear that give you stun which completely perfect for Entangling Claws.If you lucky enough, your enemy will not able to moving for a 8-10 second which give you enough time to kill
• Assault Cuirass give huge armor bonus and attack speed which give your enemy a nightmare.Just imagine how strong it will be.
• Drum of Endurance give you additional movement and attack speed which you really need in late game to destroy enemy tower
• Sange and Yasha give Lone Druid self chance to slow enemy movement speed.Your enemy will completely screw up.Spirit Bear Orb of Venom^^
• Mjollnir make your Spirit Bear attack speed really faster and chance to use chain lighting
• Abyssal Blade is upgrade for Skull Basher which give you extra damage and stun if the game doesn't finish yet
• Pipe of Insight add more your magic resistant which you've already had in case you face with Zeus, Oracle, Skywrath Mage..you get it.Get it first before other luxury item
• Radiance give you aoe damage and damage.Give to Spirit Bear to make sure Bear become stronger
• Dust of Appearance to reveal invisible units in radius.You bring it 'cause you have empty slot
• Gem of True Sight Lone Druid is good gem bringer.He durable
• Monkey King Bar if there's enemy hero buying Butterfly
• Butterfly is very good item for any agi. hero i think
• Boots of Travel will let you go to another location near your creep.Use Return for spirit bear to go to Lone Druid
• Armlet of Mordiggian give you extra health when turn on.You can whether give to Lone Druid self or Spirit Bear
• Black King Bar if there's many spell caster like Lina, Lion, Death Prophet and kind of
• Daedalus.Who doesn't like crits.
• Mask of Madness increase speed whether it attack or movement.It perfect if Spirit Bear use it for chasing

Tips and Tricks

I will list down any new TnT above soon.

Tips

• If you in top lane and you want to go bottom lane but you didn't have town scroll always get a free farm across if you not in hurry.It will make sure you gain an exp. and gold and not waste time.
• Spirit up your team.You will have higher percentage of winning.
• Always do a new things in DotA.
• Do not ever trade Spirit Bear's Phase Boots with Boots of Travel.
• I prefer to rush situational item like buying Cloak first to buy Pipe of Insight before Vladmir's Offering just to gain it benefit in early game.
• Keep your bear health full whether use Spirit Bear or let it go to fountain

• You can dodge any projectile with your turn on or turn off True Form
• Return can dodge some tower projectile if time right
• You can save your life by you turn on Armlet of Mordiggian to let any damage taken by extra health that Armlet of Mordiggian give.You need some practice

Micro Skill

I'm not so pro to micro skill but so far I done this in every game using Lone Druid and it working.

For me,controlling many units in one time need to swiftness of your hand.Your eyes should look at minimap and at it when moving them different path.I prefer to use ctrl+2 to Lone Druid, ctrl+3 for Spirit Bear,ctrl+4 for both and ctrl+1 for all of my unit.Group easier to me to control if i pick up illusion rune.I choose 2,3,4 for control them because i found it easy to press(the button just at top of my finger).When you being chasing,control Lone Druid and click at safe place for you(near tower or near fountain) at minimap and press 3 to control Spirit Bear and let it attack your chaser.
