How to do Sven things.

Sven is a great pusher, a fantastic team fighter, and an even better farmer. He can farm entire waves before the enemy can blink and he can farm jungle well with his efficient jungle farm mechanics and great mid-late game based on items. Yet i don't see him being played well. I mean anyone worth their salt must know how to play Sven, right? I guess he isn't the best early game due to one simple mechanic that most new players get wrong and he just iswn't as good at specific things as other caries can be. And he can't jungle before he gets mask, so that's an issue. He runs well with playstyles that are very simple and right-clicky which makes him great for new players, yet I see new players picking ******** Troll Warlord in less than 2k, like, The **** man.

Sven Early Level mechanics.

In the Early Game, Sven hits a very large power spike at level 1, Level 4, and Level 6. This can only be Achieved through a simple leveling mechanic that i don't see players using. And that is, skipping the second and third level to get warcry and upgrade Cleave to level 2 at level 4. The cleave in the early game pushes out the lane and Makes your laning stage that much harder. So I would reccomend getting the Stun At Lv1, then skipping Levels 2 and 3, to upgrade Cleave to level 2 and Warcry to level 1 at level 4. This will give you a huge power spike and will let you get more early kills with the bonus pressure at Level 4. Level 6 is where you hit a big spike, especially in 7.06 with better strength health scaling and God's Strength now giving you a ****ton of strength. With a quickly farmed BD after mask you can gank and kill early with better stun and chase potential.

When do I go into the jungle to gain more farm?

Easy answer, whenever you get mask.

Hard answer, Whenever you feel pressured out of lane and incapable of staying in lane any longer, so you just go jungle. If you can get an early kill, go ahead and lane for as long as you can, but if you hit level 6 without mask, you're probably going to want to just stick to lane and get those last hits on lane creeps, they give a good ammount of gold and will help you farm sufficiently until mid game, around level 10 for you when you get your strength upgrade and can just go into jungle and regen fast enough to clear a few camps.

Pro tip, Get mask as soon as you can, you get a bunch of damage and lifesteal along with bonus attack speed. It's really good on a hero like Sven with very little escape mechanics.

Where's mask in the end game build?

You have Heart of terra, if you have a healer on your team you should be fine. (Dazzle works best for this, but omniknight or Warlock work fine) If you don't have a healer, then keep it in there if you feel you need it. Shiva's can probably go if you don't want it.

We good now?

This should at least let you get the basics of items and leveling of Sven. Teamfight mechanics are pretty straightforward, Right click carry rules apply, but with him you want to catch more people in your cleave. Your stun is a small AOE, so you can use it on multiple people, but you also can use it on single targets.

Sven is a monstrosity RN, get him and get some EZ MMR. (7.06)
