Key Strategy

Key strategic elements to consider when playing Sven

• Use Storm Hammer to secure ranged creep lasthit and damage the opponents at the same time.
• Alert your teammates to stack for you as you can clear those fairly early. Prioritize Ancient creeps once you get your Mask of Madness.
• Only put points into Great Cleave once you are ready to leave the lane, or keep it at one point in lane until you are ready to leave the lane.
• Don`t overstay in lane. Consider moving out of the lane as laning opponents are getting closer to level 6.
• Feel free to pop God`s Strength off cooldown to farm after laning phase.
• Your initial jump in the fights has to be well timed and precise. You don`t want to be kited.
• In the fights, position yourself in such a way so that you can cleave onto the opponents further away.
• Itemize against kiting by purchasing Black King Bar, Blink Dagger, Shadow Blade, Aghanim`s Scepter or Shard.
