In early game Sven is an extremely squishy Hero, who can be easily killed by any ranged hero or (Axe).
In early game you will want to put some pints in Sven's stats because of the fact that he's stats are not that great and he has a really limited supply of mana.
CleaveSven has a great capability to carry a team because of his passive ability he can kill almost anyone who's near him and it is a great jungling tool.
God's strength God's strength is Svens ultimate that cause to him to make a lot's of damage, applying the mask of madness makes him even scarier since he can now attack with great speeds and giving the needed movement.
Warcry I don't see this ability as useful as others but it is a great help for your teammates in late game, and you can chase down your enemies if Mask of madness has stopped working because either your Stun is on cooldown.
Storm hammer This is why Sven is amazing in ganks, he can stun for a pretty long duration and in stuns enemies in a quite large radius. Run in with your ult on the same for mask of madness and cause complete mayhem.
I have experimented with lots of items for Sven, but his main thing is damage, damage.
Mask of Madness
Is a really essential item for Sven because Sven's base attack speed is low, and with the damage he is able to do you will get large health boosts and you will not have to go to the base for a really long time, if you end up losing so much health then just go in the jungle for a minute and you're fine and ready for some new action.
Daedelus
Daedelus is a great item for doing crits mixed with his ult he can kill an enemy like pudge in matter of 6 hits.
