This is only my second guide so I'm pretty new to this system but I know the basics. However this guide is not about my skill with this system but Slark.
Slark is a very strong roamer with the potential to carry your game if you get a couple kills on key opponents.
Slark is like my
Weaver guide, another hero who is very effective vs
Pudge. So now, let's get crackin'.
I start with a Quelling Blade on
Slark because it makes those early last hits easier and also assists with you first few early kills. The
Stout Shield is because when playing as
Slark I like to be a bit more aggressive early on and this helps with my play style. The
Tango and
Healing Salve are the best combo of regen on
Slark because the
Healing Salve also helps to be more aggressive before your ulti
Shadow Dance. If you are playing right then you will easily be able to fit in a
Yasha before your
Power Treads.
Sange and Yasha is the perfect item on
Slark because you get the move speed bonus which means you can move incredibly fast across the map when the enemy can't see you and the maim also helps for the heroes who can tank up and then try to run away. Next you get the
Eye of Skadi because it is just the GOTO '
Slark' item. To round off the items you can pick up a
Skull Basher.
For some weird reason everyone seems to like to level Essence Shift over
Dark Pact? I personally hate this build because you deal more damage in a AoE with
Dark Pact than you do to one target, usually, with
Essence Shift. Obviously as it is so good for ganking and moving around the map pick up
Shadow Dance whenever you can.
As the title might suggest, thanks for reading my guide and if you have any improvements I should make please tell me and I will explain my reasoning.
