Introduction

The point of this guide is to inform and guide any players who have no idea how to play Traxex. There are many players out there who are looking to transition from League of Legends and have no idea what is good and what is bad on this Hero but more importantly they don't know why certain items are more significant. Anyway, lets get started.

Who is Traxex and what does she do?

Traxex is an agility carry hero who is capable of turning a losing match into a winning match if she is backed up by her team. For all you League of Legends players, consider Traxex similar to Ashe and for you Heroes of Newerth players, consider her similar to Arachna. Anyway, lets get started and go over her skills.

Frost Arrows
With this spell, every attack you make will slow your enemy's movement speed for a short duration of time. This ability is exactly the same as Ashe's Frost shot and Arachna's Webbed Shot. This spell will not affect the damage you deal to your enemy every time it is used.

Silence
This is a FANTASTIC ability to use in team fights! This ability is similar to Vindicator's Ultimate from HoN, but not with a global range. For those LoL players who do not know what I am speaking of, this ability is used on a certain area and silences all enemies within the region for a brief duration. If you are fighting a team that has many heroes that are casting savvy, this spell is crucial for use in all fights at the start to prevent any lethal damage to you and your allies.

Trueshot Aura
Trueshot Aura is a pretty decent ability in the sense that it helps all of your allies by boosting their auto attacks by a certain percentage. This ability goes great with other ranged Heroes such as Sniper, Clinks, and Huskar (if in ranged mode).

Marksmanship
This ability here is what makes Traxex CLUTCH! To put it simply, this ability boosts your damage, attack speed, and armor by a certain number that is equivalent, if not, greater than certain agility items. If you even so consider avoid getting this skill, you're basically putting yourself at a disadvantage.

NOTE: I am having a bit of a problem getting the skill order going so I will place it here.

Frost Arrows: 1,3,7,9
Silence: 2,4,8,10
Trueshot Aura: 12,13,14,15
Marksmanship: 6,11,16
Stats: 5,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25

What items to get, what items to not get and why?

The starting items
Quelling blade- at the beginning of the game, you're gonna be wanting to deny as much as possible and last hitting as much as possible. Quelling blade will give you the advantage to do that on creeps early in the game.
Slippers of Agility- this is going to give you a slight boost in your attack speed and attack damage early in the game which also assists in last hitting. You'll also be using these slippers to upgrade them into a wraith band later in your laning phase.
Tango- Lets be real here. You're not going to go through the entire laning phase without taking any damage and the last thing you're going to want to do is go back to base to heal. Tango may heal you for a small bit but hey, at least they are cheap and keep you from losing time and money, which you need.

The laning items

Wraith Band x2- These items will not only give you an agility boost, but they will also give you a strength and intelligence boost which will increase your mana, mana regen, health, and health regen ever so slightly.
Boots of Speed- By this point, your enemies may be trying to land some early game kills on you to keep you from becoming a carry. Getting boots will give you the movement speed that will allow you to constantly move at a pace that will keep your enemies from successfully landing any attacks and spells on you.

The core items

Power Treads- Power treads not only give you the movement speed boost you need to chase and escape, but also give you an attack speed boost and an attribute boost of your choosing. So consider you need to up your hp and health regen, you could have them at strength. Or if you need a mana and mana regen boost, you could switch them up to intelligence. However, most players prefer to have them at agility since it is Traxex's primary attribute.
Yasha- There comes a time where your movement speed and attack speed are just not cutting it at the moment. That's where Yasha comes in. With Yasha, not only will you get an agility boost, but an attack speed boost and a movement speed percentage boost.
Maelstrom- This item is a fantastic pushing item. Not only do you get an increase in attack speed and attack damage, but you also get a chain lightning effect from it. Say you are in a scenario where one of your lanes has been completely destroyed and your team needs you to wipe out the creeps destroying your base quickly. Maelstrom comes in handy at this point. With your quick attack speed, this item will proc way more than you think and get the job done.
Butterfly- I mean, do I really have to explain this item? This item is just fantastic on any agility Hero. It's practically developed for almost any carry to get this.

Luxury Items
Mjollnir- This item is the same as Maelstrom but gives you more attack speed and you can grant the chain lightning ability to an ally. I wouldn't consider this item unless attack speed seems like something you just want more of.
Monkey King Bar- The fantastic thing about this item is not that it boosts your damage significantly, but that it gives you true strike AND places a mini stun on your opponent. This item does stack with your frost arrows so you can basically keep your enemy right next to you as you chase them for the kill.
Shadow Blade- There isn't always going to be a scenario where you can just live and avoid all damage. Smart players do exist and will be aware of how much of a threat you are so they will target you first. This is where the shadow blade comes in handy. When being focused, just activate this item and you will stealth out of combat. However be warned. There are items that do detect stealthed units so this wont always be a 100% effective item.
Manta Style- Like Shadow blade, this is also a great evasive tool. The primary reason to getting this item is that it will create two illusions of yourself which may confuse the opponents. It does give you a boost on all your attributes and carries the stats from your Yasha, but mostly people get this for the illusions.
Black King Bar- When fighting a team that has HEAVY casting or you want to avoid ultimates such as Enigma's Black Hole, this is the item you want to get. This item grants to magic immunity so you can avoid being impaired by any spell.

Items NOT to get

Sange- The reason you don't want to get this item is because you already have a slow. Why get an item that adds a slow when you already have a spell that does that for you? I'd also like to point out that Sange and Frost Arrows DO NOT stack.
Eye of Skadi- The same exact reason as Sange

More to come

Well this is the extent of all the information I can put on this guide. Unfortunately I am not in the beta so all the information I gave was knowledge from DOTA Allstars, HoN, and LoL. Hopefully I get into the beta soon and once I'm in, I'll update this guide with more refined and in depth information. If you are going to criticize my guide, please make it constructive and with a positive outlook.
