+3 for an alternative way to play SF.
The ignorance in the comment section is too much though so... -2.

Desolator has great synergy with Requiem of Souls. A must-buy if the enemy is stacking armor.

I think you may have gotten this mixed up with Presence.

To be honest dude, he is right. Blink Dagger is a recent thing on Shadow Fiend, throughout DOTA history for as long as I can remember, a majority of Shadow Fiend players prefer a Shadow Blade or just simply going for auto-attack carry items. To put it simply, having his soul damage, his reduction in armor and good attack animation, outweighs the fact that you might somethings hit more than three waves from Requiem of Souls, which rarely happens. On top of that, Shadow Blade is better than Blink Dagger when it comes to getting off Requiem of Souls in just about every way.

Hey guys, let's ignore how he can get a free +60 damage and not scale towards that, but instead focus on his ultimate that rarely does more than a Tidehunter ult but minus the stun. It's great for following up initiations, that is about it. Shadow Blade will land you more waves, but can be countered, but also gives you bonus damage, which if you actually build him auto-attack, makes him better in that direction.

Anyway, he has a point and he isn't wrong. If you guys don't like how he expresses it, tell him to stop being a ****. Not hard.

Noct, rather than simply telling them that it is wrong perhaps a better way to go about it would be to offer your suggestions. Simply rattling off a list of items would not suffice as a decent suggestion but going through it thoroughly and actually explaining why you disagree with the guides choices would benefit everyone.

This site is growing and in no way boasts a community that consists soley of competitive players. As you will see on MOBAfire (The LoL Portal of the MOBAfire network) you have a wide variety of players from all skill levels throwing out their ideas. Keep that in mind when you post here.

Not every guide will meet your expectations and not every guide will make the same choices you will! If you strongly disagree with someone and think it would benefit them to change the way they do it then do so positively :)

Just my 2¢,
Sarcyn

Also, read the damn guide. Don't just look at skill build, nobody should ever just copy the skill build. You need to be dynamic. There are situations where a level 6 requiem works wonders, granted you can build the farm for it.

There's no situation where ultimate lvl 6 with 16 souls would work nicely. Btw, I'm not talking only about the skill build, aswell as the item builds, but every single thing (at least what I read) was wrong !

Geez, I'm not discussing anymore. You're nothing but a pubber sir! Omg, I really thought this site was like, for competitive players, not for pubbers :|

I didn't read the entire guide, but you don't really know how to play sf, do you? ¬¬

lvl6 ultimate? Bloodstone??? No manta? butter, mkb, ethereal blade, sy, etc? Dagger on core items? Dagger won't EVER be a core item for sf, it's pretty much an alternative item and mostly on pubs and easy games.

Rofl. Stop thinking of him as some hard carry ****. There are other heroes that do that so much better. You are an AoE carry as someone else pointed out, if you can land all your raze's your damage output is more than enough. Being able to blink into a battle and pop your ult is pretty damn necessary for this kind of play.

Do you understand that if you take only 2 levels of necromastery, that you'll only have max 15 souls for ultimate?

That means that your ulti does half as much damage as if you had waited for 30 souls.

SF should not get ulti until level 9 at the earliest

Shadowraze is his best skill; this is maxed by level 7.

You need maxed necromastery for his ult to be of any effectiveness.

Usually you go stats at lvl 9, and then ult at level 10 and 11
