BKB would indeed useful in a team fight. However, if you practice with your team with sniper enough and position yourself right in a team fight, Eye of Skadi would be more useful in a way. As you see, Sniper is a hard carry. To push his limit to the edge, you would like to make use of your skills and range by increase his attack speed and damage to the top, add as much stun, slow as possible to your attackes. Basiclly it's like if you can save sniper's life with our life, the chance of him able to revange you by killing two or more enemies are not low. And surely, depends on what your opponent have, you will have to change your item build as they go.
When Sniper fed fully, he can team up with a good support or two to just stand outside of other team's base. Kill them as they respawn. At that point, your team would pretty much win because they team will get kill at base, no chance of buying items, while the rest of your team can push as much as they want. But of course, this is a rare case. You and your team will need years of practice, know each others well and well prepare for the worst. Also highly depend on what skill other team has.
Sniper isn't an easy character, instead I would say he is one of the hardest. As you see not many in any pro game are pro enough to use him. Almost none. But if you play for fun, you can try get out his full protential with team work, practice, and adaptation. And I'm sure he will make an powerful member in your team as well as a fun character to play with.
Incredibly rude and unnecessary, Ham. =/
You can have your opinion and constructive criticism, but no need to be a complete a-hole to someone. Calling him a **** player isn't going to help him make better guides, and you're quite frankly just making yourself look worse.

thanks for the advise but bkb sucks bro, if your going bkb your team is either trash or their team can easily get to you and kill you, if thats the case why did you pick sniper?
The majority of teams that aren't free will are going to able to easily get to you and kill you (hint: Blink Dagger is only 2150g), why write a guide for a hero that you don't feel can handle even pubs?
Point is Black King Bar is generally essential if your opponent's even remotely care about winning. That or you could at least get some health via Eye of Skadi.

You're way late to the HamSandwich party.

Lastly, what is Rank 1 Shrapnel even going to do post Level 10? Just skip the whole thing, -15% slow isn't worth +2 STR/AGI/INT.
