lvl 1-3: you buy the courir (if nobody else did it) and your boots of travel. you can play solo lane or with a team mate but play defensive (just farming & last hitting).
lvl 3-6: you got your tranquil boots and have 4,2 life-regen. now you can start playing offensive (because of your life-regen and soul assumption). sometimes hitting the enemies and if you lost some life, activate your boots. maybe you get a kill.
lvl 6-15: you got your two familiares, now you can start pushing. But just activate your ulti when you start pushing or if you wanna kill an enemy (because your dragons have more damgae after not using them some sconds & because they are good farm for the enemies). if you play solo lane you buy soul booster and if you are playing on with a team mate on a lane you buy mekansm.
lvl 15-25: you buy arghanim's scepter, so you got 3 familiares for better pushing and more phsical damage. after that you buy eye of skadi. from now on you are a great nuker. you do a lot of damage (3 familiares & soul assumption) & no one can get away from you (grave chill & eye of skadi) & soul assumption has just 6 sec duration. if you have not finished the game yet you can alsow buy ***ult cuirass for more attack speed & armor.
