Agree about the bottle, but Medallion of Courage is situational. It's good if they're coming close to you, but if you're vs a ranged hero or something, you might even just be better off with saving for your Blink.
I don't think I saw Ferrari 430 build it once in TI2, and he was arguably the best Lanaya there.
Medallion is a great item on her but is definitely not core.
My qualms with this guide come from starting with a Bottle, Radiance, Abyssal, Mjollnir recommended, and BKB listed as Luxury. This isn't mentioning the fact he delays his traps past level 6 for no apparent reason. 5 traps is nothing compared to 11, not to mention you can keep the slow up almost permanently.

Agree by far. Bottle should not be a start just rushed up too early game...
Medallion..yes, definately not core as her meld should do enough for early ganks and as we know templar is dependant on levels above her opponent so it should matter later as long as desolator is implemented...bkb as a luxury is a pure joke..situational or core.
agree with traps as well, not only good for slows..they make great wards and harrass tools early game with her huge range ..this allows her to fully use that bottle and control runes.
in short..id change the guide a bit
