Know my pain!Your guide to playing Huskar as ganker/semi-carry

Introduction

Hey!Thanks for spending your personal time to read my very first Dota 2 build guide.
Huskar is possibly one of the funnest hero's in Dota 2.He excels in becoming a snowballer late game and an excellent chaser overall. In this guide I shall be discussing a different way of play Huskar in role,as a ganker and chaser.Any type of constructive criticism is deeply appreciated!

Emerging from the throes of the sacred Nothl Realm, Huskar opened his eyes to see the prodigal shadow priest Dazzle working a deep incantation over him. Against the ancient rites of the Dezun Order, Huskars spirit had been saved from eternity, but like all who encounter the Nothl he found himself irrevocably changed. No longer at the mercy of a mortal body, his very lifeblood became a source of incredible power; every drop spilled was returned tenfold with a fierce, burning energy. However this newfound gift infuriated Huskar, for in his rescue from the Nothl, Dazzle had denied him a place among the gods. He had been denied his own holy sacrifice. In time the elders of the order sought to expand their influence and Huskar, they agreed, would be a formidable tool in their campaign. Yet becoming a mere weapon for the order that denied him his birthright only upset him further. As the first embers of war appeared on the horizon, he fled his ancestral home to find new allies, all the while seeking a cause worthy of unleashing the power his total sacrifice could bring.

This guide is still a work in progress,I will periodically update this guide as much as possible.

Pros / Cons

Pros
His dps can be leveled to insanely high levels with the correct items
Healing ability
Berserker's Blood is an extremely nice passive skill.
Life Break is a great ability to use in initiation, damaging tank hero's, and finishing off wounded enemies.
The only strength character who has a range attack
Huskar can own glass hero's in a short amount of time.
Three of his abilities don't require mana.

Cons
Burning Spear is considered a poor orb walking effect
Outcarried by hard carries such as Faceless Void
Usually focused down first in a team fight
Stuns leave Huskar vulnerable to dying.
Pudge counters Huskar in when you're alone and early game.
Burning Spear drains your health, which could lead you to dying faster

Laning information and stuff

Huskar is flexible and can fill any lane on both the Radiant and Dire,Huskar can even also take a solo lane with the right tactics.Although, I wouldn't recommend him mid if there's a hard carry on your team, they will need the gold and xp more than you.Make sure to harass melee hero's in your lane.

Early game (prior to getting Life break)

For starting items, get your typical healing items,a Tango and Healing Salve.Get Gauntlets of Strength to eventually upgrade to an Urn of Shadows and three iron branches for cheap stats, with the addition of 104 gold left for later spending. Always attempt to harass your competition in lane to get the advantage. If a range hero is harassing you constantly, you're letting them harass you with ease so attempt to shut them down early to ensure safety and survival.I recommend to stay in your lane until you get your Life Break ,that's when you can start ganking with ease.Upgrade your Gauntlets of Strength into an Urn first, then focus on getting Boots of Speed second. The Urn will assist you with the very little mana trouble you have,as well as giving you more survivability after a fight. That is why I recommend getting an urn first.

Midgame

This is usually when the laning phase ends when at least one or two towers are pushed, this is when team fights begin to become common. When your team always initiates a teamfight, make sure to always use inner vitality before entering one to ensure you survive frequently. Upgrade your Boots of Speed to Phase Boots for the extra move percentage and attack damage to kill wounded enemies who are running away. Medallion of Courage is a must,as it makes killing chasing hero's off easier.Activate Medallion of Courage before Life Break to finish off the enemy quicker.Last and not least,a Hyperstone will pair efficiently well with Berserker's Blood making your enemy killing even easier!

Late game

For items that Huskar should have is either a Desolator for more attack damage or an Assault Cuirass for durability. But eventually, you will want to build and finish both of these items as they're crucial for armor reducing the enemy hero's that stacks with Medallion of Courage. If you're dealing with invisibility hero's,make sure to purchase either Dust of Appearance or Gem of True Sight to deny your enemy the satisfaction of escaping! With your devastating abilities to murder hero's in mere seconds now, your game should at least end at the 35-50 minute mark.

Friends and Foes

Huskar works effectively with almost any type of ally, but allies with disables/stuns,slows, and armor reduction are your best friend.
Allies
Bane with his Fiend's Grip
Dazzle is literally your best friend (even though they do dislike each other) they pair up efficiently. His Weave and your armor reduction would just completely mean the end of the game for the opposing side. Poison Touch assists you with killing hero's who are trying to escape.
Bristleback with his Viscous Nasal Goo
Enigma with Malefice
Sven
Vengeful Spirit paired with Huskar is a dream for you. Magic Missile paired with
Wave of Terror makes your job easier.
Omniknight will assist you in managing to stay alive with your lane.He also has a free Black king bar!

The foes of Huskar is hero's who can stun him or slow,as this can mean instant death.
Foes
Pudge is the biggest nuisance for Huskar, since his infamous Hook+rot+dismember combo means instant death for Huskar when 1 vs 1 and early.Take extreme precautions and get assistance from teammates to shut down Pudge.
Faceless Void will show no mercy and can relentlessly bash the **** out of you.
etc....

Items to avoid

Mask of Madness this is an extremely overrated item with no benefits, rather than getting the other team fed.The +100 attack speed may be nice, but that's where Hyperstone and Berserker's Blood substitute the dps, which means you don't have to purchase a mask because you already have insane dps.The bonus move speed is substituted with Phase Boots. Just avoid this item, period.

Conclusion

Playing as Huskar in this build is solely to be heavily reliant on armor reduction and dps to murder your enemies.
Thanks for having the time to read my guide!Any comments regarded to improving this guide, or anything else in particular would be appreciated!
