INTRODUCTION

Jakiro is a Intelligent Lane support, pusher dual head fire breathing dragon.I wrote this guide when i started playing DOTA around 2 years back every one recommended me to play easy heroes by random pick i got Jakiro and seriously fed the enemy team.I searched the net and did not find any good guide ,but now i have played Jakiro and he is my most successful hero.
Any guide on DOTA is not the only way to play a hero so never follow only the guide build your items and abilities should depend on the game ultimately.Hope you enjoy the guide.

Playing as a support

Every one wants to be the person scoring most kills...All the Killing streaks but playing a support in less desired.Jakiro is a lane support hero and should concentrate more on helping the lane partner(carry of the team),whilst in the lane concentrate more on denying and dont compete with your carry for last hits.... remember you are mostly useless in late game, and its your carry who will help win the game but not without your support.Get minimum last hits and harass the enemy heroes, try keeping them out of XP region.Place observer wards wherever necessary to have proper map awareness these are the ward spots.

Always ask the carry what are the requirements and purchase accordingly the supports items like Mekansm or Arcane Boots. What makes him a support is his ice path which is really useful this will be later explained in this guide.

In a situation where u can save your carry but you would probably die, your sacrifice would be most appreciated, but if your carry will die anyway dont jump in and give the opponents a extra kill.

Never miss a team fight , you get most of your money from team fight itself and moreover Jakiro is team destroyer if positioned correctly, a proper Macropyre is like a Finger of Death to entire area.

Skill Explaination and Usage

Dual Breath: Its type of a early-mid game skill
Level 1: 135 Mana 90 damage with 10 sec CD is not a skill to spam but ,
Level 4: 170 Mana 360 damage with 30% Slow MS and 20% AS reduction is really good.
At level 4 it is used for pushing and also acts as a small nuke.Always use the skill on the ground to cover maximum units in it.

Ice Path: Most important skill, max it out in all the cases. At level 4 of the skill a 2.2sec stun which deals 100 damage at cost of 90mana and 9sec CD it is used to stop fleeing heroes, initiate a gank, stop chanelling spells and remember it is like a Pudge hook but in a complete area and ofcourse it doesnt hook a enemy but practice is required to master it.IT TRAVELS THROUGH CLIFFS NOT THROUGH TREES.

Liquid Fire:It a most underrated skill and in many guides not used and stated as useless but remember at its max level for no mana and 5sec CD it reduces 50% attack speed in an area also affects towers, dealing 125 damage in 5 secs.Used for pushing and in team fights.

Macropyre:Its a team devastating ultimate, needs a lot of mana, but damages a lot... seriously a lot..positioning is the key to a good macropyre.

IN A TEAM FIGHT when all skills are leveled up the damage you cause is:
Dual breath:360 with 30% MS reduction and 20% AS reduction
Ice path: 2.2 sec stun 100 damage
Liquid fire: 50% AS reduction and 125 damage
Macropyre:1260 damage

That is a ASTRONOMICAL: 1845 damage to every unit in the area, and with a Aghanim's Scepter add another 315 damage, which will be 2160 damage to everyone.

ITEMS EXPLANATION

Buy wards , even if you dont farm by last hits get you gold from creep pulling and the normal gold you get is 5 Gold per 3 Sec so in every 2 mins you recover the cost you paid for a 200gold ward and it may save a hero and help your team to rune *****.

Arcane Boots : You are a support and moreover a spellcaster does this need explaination??

Mekansm: 250 hp and +2 armour in a area is good for a pusher and support.

Force Staff: Use mainly for survivability also gives +10 Int and 3 hp regen,,
if good gold is comming and you have enough gold then after mek and arcane buy Eul's for a combo explained in the next section.

Do not buy AGHANIM's as for 4200 gold a small 315 damage in increased and area is also increased buy it after Mek,Arcane, Force staff,Eul's and shivas Guard.

Shivas Guard :For 4700 you get 200 damage and 30int and 15 armour enough to make you a tanky int spell caster.

NOW IF YOU PLAYED A GOOD SUPPORT THE GAME WOULD END BEFORE YOU GET THESE ITEMS.

DEADLY Combo's

Skill combos: Like a Invoker , cast Eul's on the enemy team and then cast macropyre and ice path followed by a dual breath.. but remember If not perfectly timed You will ruin every thing as Euls will make them invulnerable.

Combo with Void's chronosphere ... stay out of chrono and try to macropyre maximum units in it. similar can be done with black hole, upheveal and disruptor and sven.

Shivas guard and Macropyre is also a deadly combo.

ANY WAY MORE CAN BE FOUND OUT AS THERE IN NOT LIMIT TO IMAGINATIONS.

ANY CRITICISM IS ACCEPTED AND THE OTHER SUGGESTIONS WILL BE UPDATED ..... ALWAYS REMEMBER PLAY ACCORDING TO REQUIREMENT OF A GAME NOT A GUIDE.
