Huskar the ganking machine

Introduction

Ok so I am a new player to Dota for the most part. I did play Dota for Star craft for a short time and while that was all fun and good I wasn't and am not a pro by any means. However This is my current build for Huskar and it seems to work fairly well for me. I am open to constructive critiques. Also I don't know how to do all of the fancy picture stuff here in the text boxes so please excuse the lack of fancy attire. Hopefully you can put up with my hobo style guide.

Skill explenation

Berserker blood: This skill is a passive that allows Huskar to attack faster and hit harder for every 7% he is missing from his health pool. The trick that I use for this is to intentionally boost his hit points through the roof as much as I can so that I can afford to initiate a fight at 75% of my health when I pounce some one with my ult. At 75% of your health you will receive a +36% attack speed and at +24 damage. This skill should be maxed out rather quickly as it will let you farm creeps with more efficiently and in some ways the lane harass you receive helps you with your farming. I max this skill out with it's last rank right after I get my first rank in my Ult. However by level 6 you can gank any solo roamer.

Burning Spear: This ability is an Auto cast DOT that gives you the ability to voluntarily lower your hit points in the interest of attacking faster and doing more damage. While the DOT burn damage is nice the real value of this skill is being able to couple it with inner vitality to control your hit points up or down.

Inner Vitality: This skill is super useful due to the fact that it allows you to heal up after an engagement but also that it may target other friendly units. Not only does it give you a straight +x hp per second but it also grants you a percentage bonus on your main attribute. This is the second skill I max out so that I can regroup after each gank quickly so that I can return to ganking or I can help an ally.

Life break: This is the sole thing that makes Huskar an excellent ganker. With out the Scepter when you jump someone they start out losing 50% of their health from one hit and even though you also take damage your Berserker blood more than makes up for the hit point lost. Also did I mention the 50% slow for 5 seconds you put on your enemy for 5 seconds? Huskar is more than capable of taking out another person in 5 seconds when they are at 50% health. My last thought on this is how important it is to get the scepter ASAP. Being able to spam your alt every 4 seconds is incredible and will land you on a killing streak. Just make sure to pop your inner vitality so that your not losing hp to quickly. But honestly once you get heart of the Tarasque it won't matter.

Now the reason I go for my stat boosts before finishing burning spear is for the reason that it gives me more hit points, more mana and more damage. Now inner vitality as discussed does not just give a straight HP regen rather it also increases your base stat regen as well. So stat boosts increase the effectiveness of Inner vitality which in turn keeps you up long enough to gank again! Plus more attack speed and damage never hurt anyone.

Explaining my items.

Three Gauntlets and two branches is what I usually go with though some times I replace the branches for two clarity potions. Gives you more mana with lets you use inner vitality more which lets you stay in the lane more so on and so forth.

(Early)
Early game I rush for a morbid mask to help me regen health as I use my abilities and farm. Then I head for my power treads. I buy boots first so I can start ganking roamers and get the rest for treads as the money comes to me.

(Core)
Next item on my list is my scepter. This is my main ganking tool as it gives me a 4 second cool down on my Ult life break which has a 5 second slow. This allows me to keep people in a constant state of slow as I leap on them a second time if my auto attack dps wasn't enough to start with.

BKB or black king bar. While I would love to just rush the heart of the Tarasque getting stunned is the surest way to lose a gank. This item protects you from such effects and will ensure the kill and that you live to tell about it.

(Late/Luxury)
Heart of the Tarasque: With it's excellent Regen rate will ensure that between engagements that you are going into all things at full health and you can afford to keep your flaming sphere on auto cast. And because damage from a player stops the heart you still get your berserker bonuses in a fight as normal.

Mantas: More of everything this character loves from stats but mainly I get it for the illusions. The only thing better than one huskar beating the snot out of some one is three Huskars beating the snot out of someone.

Conclusion

This build is meant to allow you to put allot of early preasure on solo mid laners or people that jungle or roam and gank. In group gank squads you should not be the initiator even with the heart of the tarasque as everyone will primary you and that will be all she wrote. GG enjoy looking at the re spawn counter if you attack a 4 man squad. Depending on level differences you might be able to do 2 on one if you have a BKB. In 1v1 you are king as far as I am concerned especially with the BKB.

When you go into a group fight let the disablers / initiators do their thing and then jump on the squishy nukers like Lina and give your side the advantage in numbers then because you have a 4 second cool down on your ult jump those people that start to scatter when they realise they are now out numbered.

Good Gaming Folks! Hope to see you on the server!

One more thing! I hope you enjoyed the read! If you did please like it up!
