I've had quite a bit of success with Zeus as of late. I'm sorry this is not a more in depth guide.
The build I have listed above has been quite good. Zeus has the ability to crush team fights with the scepter + double ult. Try to farm when you can to get all of the core items.
Zeus does not have the range of many of the other ranged casters. Try to harass with your 'W'. This does quite a lot of damage to any early game hero when leveled as shown in the build.
