Sorry man, but MOM on faceless is more of a low level pub thing. While it still works it's better to go for items like maelstrom and battlefury. Take a look at some competitive players (when voids a safelane carry not offlane) see what they do. Maybe they will give you some ideas.

Cataclysm2146: It's a pretty common joke.
Hamstertamer: Thanks for the formatting guide. This is my first guide on dotafire so I wasn't sure how to add icons or what other people did with their guides.
Krwiozerca: I never said shadow blade was a defensive item. I said it was defensible. It's a good item early on *shrugs*. People get away with shadow blade on all kinds of autoattack heroes. How are those games not fun?
And I mean each point of strength in treads gives 19 strength, not the entirety of treads.

I agree with Krwiozerca : Dotafire guides are read by new players and it's best to not give them wrong ideas : Shadow Blade is a ganking item and it has never been anything else. If you start thinking about it as an escape at one point people will buy dust and you'll start thinking that SB is a noob item (which is also wrong) before taking 6 months to realize what this item is actually meant to do : ganking lone heroes or initiating teamfights.

SB on Void is actually pretty legit...if you use it to land good chronos! And then you have Time walk to get away (Time walk IS an escape mechanism however).

It's not "Facless Void".

Bloodstone - really...?

Your guide is unfinished and explanations are not enough. Formatting is poor and guide is too short as well. Faceless Void isn't also a dumb hero. Any hero in Dota is dumb. If you think it's that easy to jump into people, use Chronosphere and kill them, then you either didn't play him much or you played against terrible players, which sets you low as well.

I don't like at all your writing style.

I don't agree that Shadow Blade is a defensive/escape item. It should be considered heavily offensive item. If you can get away with Shadow Blade, then the game isn't fun at all.

And Power Treads swapping doesn't give you 19 HP, 13 mana or 1 damage and 1 attack speed. Power Treads set to Strength gives you 152 HP and 0,24 HP/sec more; set to Intelligence - 104 MP and 0,32 MP/sec more; set to Agility - 8 damage, 8 attack speed and around 1,15 armor (on Agility hero).

Uhm...I think the late game items need to be put in the item build at the top, because now it looks like you play Void with Mask of Madness as only item :)

The items are fine, although Bloodstone sounds absolutely horrible because the only purpose of Bloodstone is to give infinite mana regen and Void doesn't need mana regen - other than that it's just an underpowered Heart of Tarrasque and even then nobody builds heart on Void. Bloodstone is an item for spell-spamming heroes like Storm Spirit or Timbersaw, not for right-click carries.

Sange and Yasha? Meh, Void is more of a Manta Style hero, Manta in chrono is just too good to get SnY - you can just grab the Yasha and wait until the late game to upgrade to Manta.

Other than that I really like that you recommend to buy dust & wards because indeed you can only count on yourself sometimes.

I agree that Midas is a horrible item in pubs but Void is probably one of the rare exceptions on which you can get one because he's a late game hero, he's a pretty bad farmer, he needs a level advantage, and he really benefits from the early attack speed to get more bashes in chrono.

The guide needs formatting! It's a bit like a wall of text here.

Is this unfinished? Because the item build looks unfinished also I wished you'd do a bit of formatting on the guide, walls of text are not so good on the eyes D:.
