Sorry about my comment earlier, I just realized how hurtful I must have been. :/
Anyway, what I really want to say is that, look a little bit deeper into Witch Doctor, polish the items and formatting, and you'll be done.
Plus, we were all noobs once. Personally, I still am, so I don't really even have a right to criticize.
Believe it or not, lots and lots of people play by the same sets of Items and build orders not because they are idiots, but just simply misinformed. So, me screaming at someone who is on the path to enlightenment is hardly appropriate.
In all great guide, sorry for being so hurtful, and please ignore the inflammatory parts of my previous comment. My logic was sound, but my emotions weren't.
"Guides are kinda like hot girls..." Ahah right...
I agree with the formating thing though, indeed it helps, although it really means some hard work, getting around at all those codes ;)
I liked your guide, though I felt it a bit too vague. I mean, I agree Witch is a hero with a pretty straightforward build most times, with only some Boots and Aghanim's Scepter] as core. That said, I don't think a [[Bracer is core always - unless you are planning to build that Drum of Endurance. Because if the game is going ok, no hero usually buys a Bracer, specially if every penny counts as a support and you would buy it only to sell it again in a bit. The same with Magic Wand - you may either have to get it, or not, and if you don't need it, it is just a waste of money and slot.
Also, I agree with the Shadow Blade comments people gave you; as for many Inteligence support, I think it is a costly item that grants useless stats (why should you want to spend all that money for damage and attack speed?) and an extremely unreliable active - something indeed is noticeable more in higher level games. Don't forget Black King Bar offers you also nice HP points, to help with late game survivibility.
On the other hand, while you said Black King Bar is expensive for a Hard Support (which I agree, specially if you're Witch Doctor, whose priority should always be that Aghanim's Scepter), you have the Refresher Orb on situational - talking about expensive and for a second channeling that most of the times can easily be interrupted too.
My personal suggestion: You really should try a build I've find very useful too, Soul Ring for the mana regen (you can always use your heal to compensate the lost HP if need arises).
The reason why I like this is because you can start building towards a Bloodstone (helped by the Arcane Boots disassembled) - an awesome item for Witch in my opinion, and one you don't include even in the situational items. With it you can simply tog on your heal and leave it like that during teammfights, and still have all the mana you need for the rest of your spells (coupled with the fact that it helps a lot with your survivibility too).
Since it is a very expensive item, you could point to do your Aghs and later decide on the BKB, if you're being interrupted, or the Bloodstone, if not. Try it! :)
As for your skill build, I completely agree with it!
Apaz is surgical in his commentary. Dont hate, he means well.
You generally need good positioning for death ward, so if enemies stun you it is over for you.
I will grant you that SB and death ward work with good positioning so that you are away from harm but the tradeoff is risky.
BKB is good in midgame and if you have goodpositioning, you wont need shadow blade for its active.
Aghs is a late game item so dont bother mid game.
Thats my advice. Feel free to reject it.
You forgot adding "FEED" to Keep Calm.
XD
Duly noted. As I have said before, I do appreciate the constructive feedback...truth to be told,I tried to improve my guide even more after Apaz criticized me,so yeah I guess in a way...Thanks Apaz!!^^
Look, I`m not as pro as you and if you`re like this for most of your posts, then I can see why you`re still UNREMARKABLE even though you clearly write great guides. Did you even other reading the entire guide? I`m pretty sure you didn`t. If you did, you would be at least considering shadow bloody blade. Have you even tried it? Or are you just assuming because you`re some 5k mmr "pro" Dota player that all these unconventional builds DEFINITELY won`t work out? Or are you so full of yourself that you just look at the cons of everyone else`s builds but just the pros of your own? Be nicer man...It doesn`t hurt to be.

Okay, not need for taking shots at each other now.
The reason high-level players do not advocate Shadow Blade on channeling heroes is simple. Unreliability. It's just too ******* unreliable man! one dust and you are done. you just wasted 3000 gold for something that won't necessarily help you when you could have waited a bit longer and purchased something which would actually help you to do damage.
Now it is not about your MMR, its about how well you can take decisions regarding heroes and items. At this point of time you can do two things, either you can brand me another sense-less prick and live in blissful ignorance, all actually accept that Shadow Blade is unreliable at medium to high levels of game-play.
Also, the order of the sub-sections is messed up, you might want to restructure/rewrite them.
*sigh* Ok, I am dedicating a section specifically to bkb vs sb. I do concede to yor points and I understand where you`re coming from...It`s just that I got a little pissed at the guy for just putting me down like that. I apologize if I sounded like a small kid just now...I hope you guys just understand this is my FIRST guide and I really want to try and make it a good one...so yeah.

Then, you say that you are never going to have the money for it. I suppose that is correct if you decide to go full ****** and rush a shadow blade with an Aghanim's Scepter, then get stunned one second into your channel.
I suppose that your reasoning and your skill build are semi-okay, but they could be heavily optimized.
Generally speaking, you need not have items by a certain time as witch doctor, as your carry's items are 20x as important. You should make a section on how to create space for your carry, by creating pressure on the map, zoning the offlaner, and how to get a good cask.

We want the best guide for Witch Doctor killing Drow Ranger, so get this formatted!
Example:
Original: Bkb,a costly item that`s great for witchdoctor, but costly. You normally won`t be able to afford this if you are being a hard support.
Formatted: Black King Bar, a costly item that's great for Witch Doctor, but costly. You normally won't be able to afford this if you are being a hard support!
You can see this looks much better, and separates a good guide from a great guide. Once this is formatted, I think it will be a very good guide.
DOTAFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new hero, or fine tune your favorite DotA hero’s build and strategy.

Okay, all of the other comments are about formatting. Which needs work, but that isn't even as important as another thing:
Shadow Blade, Really?
Rushing Agh's with shadow blade is the classic noob pub build.
Basically, Death Ward for teamfights. What is the best teamfight Item in the game, especially for those with long channels?
Black King Bar.
