Introduction

Hello and welcome to my guide. This is the first time I ever wrote a guide, so feel free to throw me some complaints (and hopefully) advice as well, either if it's about the layout or content

Juggernaut has always been my favorite hero for many reasons. He is just plain cool with a katana and a mask. Seriously who has anything cooler than a katana and a mask? And recently he just got buffed in 6.81, with his BAT increase comes new play style, the main reason why I write this guide.

Without further ado... Let us go into my guide :3

*anyway let us again bath in Juggy Jade sword awesomeness before we go*

Hero Introductions

1. Stats:
I think I can (well, I think) skip this part because there is a wiki with full of numbers for you Math geeks, but I will summarize important stuffs. (and here is the link to the wiki Your text to link here...)
First: His stats gain:
Meh, I guess. Not bad, but not good either. 1.9 STR per level is pretty good for an AGI hero, but that still leaves his HP kinda paper thin.
His AGI gains: 2.85, pretty standard, but still he would appreciate a little higher gain.
His INT gain is 1.4, predictable for a muscle brain guy, with one or two Omnislash in the late game would still leave you dried. Completely.
Second: His new sweet 1.5 BAT. Yep. You heard it. Juggy has new BAT that comes close to Auntie Mage. This would improve not only his last-hitting, but also empower his already amazing ultimate. Why? I'll explain later.

2. Skills

Blade Fury Yep, the fancy Masked guy starts to ballet dancing... I meant Blade Dancing through the enemy lines as the unstoppable Juggernaut. Well, you really cannot be stopped while spinning (except for a cute little stone named Tiny), but no one is stupid enough to stand there getting thrashed. Or worse, if they are really smart, you will Dance to your doom (not you Doom, but well, he beats you too).
Before 6.81, this skill is often maxed out to increase the damage output early on. It isn't nerfed in anyway, it's just that there are better thing to put your precious skill points in the early game.

Even though sometimes, it could be a good idea to max it (will explain later in the gameplay explanation)

Healing Ward The lovable but underestimated Skill. People often says that his mana pool early on cannot sustain this, but one point in the laning phase does help a lot. Putting this behind your tower would let you soak up harassment, or just use it as a surviving tool in the hardlane,

Blade Dance Now that’s some real dancing (I mean manly kind of dancing, yay). It’s somewhat appears weak due to its x2 multiplier, but in fact the DPS it gives you is quite phenomenon because of high proc chance.

Omnislash This is what makes Juggernaut Juggernaut-y. Just an awesome ultimate overall, making you invulnerable, amazing damage and cool animation.
There is this trick about Omnislash, that if you attack fast enough, Jugg can add a little jam between the slices (get it? Slices) At 315 AS, he can normal attack between jumps, which is pretty OP in the late game I think.

His pros and cons are listed above, I think.

So, after you became somewhat familiar with Juggernaut, I think we should discuss when to pick Jugg and his gameplay.

When to pick and when not to pick

1. When to pick:
- You want to feel awesome as the unstoppable Juggernaut dancing on the battle field
- You have Relic Blade of the Kurr-Ishiminari socketed with Fireborn Onslaught
- You have less than 3 melee or carry on your team
- A team mate of yours has a reliable stun and/or slow
- When no "when not to pick" happens
- Again, if you want to feel awesome
Pretty much picking Juggernaut depends on your and your team's mood. He can fit into any line-up, as a back up carry for mid-game oriented team or providing regen for a mass push team.

2. When not to pick
- Your team has too many carries and melees
- They have too many invisible/blink heroes because they ruin your ult
- You are too overconfidence and you really believe in the joke "unstoppable Juggernaut"
- You simply don't feel like Omnislashing people today

Gameplay

1. Early game
From level 1-3, you have a pretty good early game presence due to Blade Fury. Don;t use this to harass though, you don't have mana and if you can't get all the damage, it's pretty meh. I think level one Blade Fury should only be used if a stun is coming your way or a stupid half-health enemy is running around when your team mate has a disable. At level 3, ask a person in your team to stun to follow up your spin. Healing Ward could be skipped if you don't take much damage, though remember if you do skill it and use it, keep it away from your creep waves. At 5-6 mins you should have Boots of Speed and Ring of Aquilla or Phase Boots and Ring of Basilius. Remember, be offensive but don't take risk, his health is low and getting to level 6 is our priority.

2. Mid game
Finish both your Phase Boots and Ring of Aquilla. Don't use your Omnislash unless it's a sure kill (they at half health and all alone) or your team mates has a follow up. Use Omnislash after you max Blade Dance is a good option, but get it at level 6 anyway if the need arises. You should opt for Aghanim's Scepter ASAP, because the Sceptered cooldown is always 70s, theoretically you will use more ultimates during a game, and as noted above, Omnislash is what makes Juggernaut Juggernaut. Next, try to aim for Hyperstone. If you can't afford it because you either die a little too often, get a Yasha for extra offense or Drum of Endurance to boost your survivability. Drum of Endurance is definitely better, but Yasha can become a Manta Style in the late game.
Medallion of Courage and Mask of Madness are interesting items to get as a replacement for Yasha/ Drum of Endurance/ Hyperstone. Medallion reduce their armor, effectively amplify your ultimate. MoM gives you enough boost to reach 315 AS early on, and their side-effect of reducing your survivablity is neglected because of yours invulnerability during your ultimate. Get those if you are ROFLstomping or just want to go something unsual.
On a side notes, Medallion gives mana regen as well, and MoM just fitting a Mask lover like Juggernaut.

3. Late game
If you had Hyperstone, go for an Assault Cuirass. Its armor reductions works well with your ultimate, and of course the bonus armor is nice. This makes you even more scary as a pusher.
Another option is going for Mjolnir for flash farming and even faster to clear waves. You will push tower slower though, the sight of Juggernaut jumping around in the battlefield while lightning strikes up and down is simply awe-inspiring.
Afterwards, Black King Bar is a good option. You cannot rely on Blade Fury forever to dodge stuns.
Desolator is kinda good, but there are just better item to shoot for. Get this if they has high armor carry like Dragon Knight.
Butterfly More AS? Yes please. More bulk? Yes please. Sky-high cost? Darn...
Refresher Orb Well? Why not? Your dumb 1.4 gains of INT of course.
Santanic Again the only thing bad about it is the damn cost
Daedalus Sorry to inform you that one person cannot hold two awesomeness, your Blade Dance does NOT stack, even though there is a chance to crit while Blade Dance doesn't, it still is situational.

Conclusion

WEW! It was fun but tiring. Please leaves suggestion below on how I should improve my guide and explain how to do so. Thank you all for reading and hope you have a good time with Juggy as much as I do. Time for some damn rest. ty gl hf bb wp
