Something is wrong. But I would've actually favored the KotL pick since the Dire team doesn't have any reliable setup for Split Earth; the (counter)pushing coming from Ezalor is nice too.
By the way, analizing the draft, I'm unsure for the first time: at first I favored the Radiant lineup since they have a lot of mid game presence and it's very difficult for the Dire to stop them if they snowball, but the other team has a much better teamfight combination.
I would personally go aggressive trilane with Mirana, Shadow Demon and Venomancer, then put Alchemist mid and Slark solo safe lane giving him that extra farm for a quick SnY/Shadow Blade. At the 15-20 minute mark most of the Dire lineup shines, so if they manage to shut down Lifestealer early on they're fine. But going versus a trilane with a Visage isn't always a good idea; the bright side is that Leshrac contributes nothing unless he lands some good (lucky?) Split Earths or combines with Open Wounds, which has a really short range.
Talking about the Radiant lineup, since the enemies have a Mirana- Shadow Demon combo they should expect an aggressive trilane, so putting Elder Titan solo bot is a big advantage for them. Invoker mid shouldn't have many problems versus a melee with low base damage, but some Unstable Concoctions can really lower his HP; Cold Snaps can do the same to the enemy, though. The trilane is kind of weird, but I can't say the Open Wounds- Split Earth combo doesn't work; another positive side is if they survive the laning phase they have two pretty good supports at all stages, while Shadow Demon and (especially) Venomancer fall off in the mid-late game. Well, maybe SD doesn't fall off as much, but he still does. Lastly, the Tornado + Chaos Meteor/ EMP + Earth Splitter combo should weaken (or even kill) the majority of enemy Heroes, but all the three cores can escape or survive.
I would still favor the Radiant team, but most of the Dire Heroes are pretty tanky and difficult to solo kill, which is what the Radiant lineup revolves around; Leshrac might be an easy prey, but even Visage as a sort of escape mechanism and two AoE stuns.
