So I was thinking recently about what kind of role I'd like to spend time learning (lane wise) and I decided with the offlane.
So what I want help with are some good heroes to play there to start off and also some tips with how to get last hits, deny etc without giving away tons of kills.
So far I have a list of about 4 heroes with are good offlaners;
Bounty Hunter
Dark Seer
Windranger
Clockwerk

I'd also like some tips for Nyx Assassin offlaning because I now he can play there due to Spiked Carapace but some tips would be wonderful.
Your new diet for heroes; You will need 4 wards (cuz wards taste better), 1 set of tangoes, 1 mango, 1 cheese.
With this you can make a nice Tango Mango Cheese platter. You can wash this all down with a nice bottle of water, Can be flavoured with red, green, yellow, blue, purple AND GOLD!
Caution: Taking roshan 3 times is required.

Centaur Warrunner is really powerful in this meta. Nature's Prophet destroys games under the right conditions, Batrider is extremely powerful and Timbersaw, Phoenix are pretty decent picks.

I would suggest checking out some of Sando's guides, particuluary good one on Dark Seer and has both the guide he posted above but also has a guide on how to counter popular offlaners which is actually realy good reading if you like to offlane as well. you can find the link here

Personally so far the hero pool i work with is Slark, Dark Seer, Timbersaw, Puck, Bristleback and Clockwerk.

But there is a massive pool of hero's, most of them covered in Sando's guides. Just get to know the lane, see what works for you and enjoy the offlane :)

quick list of heroes I find can offlane easily, may have missed some but anyway here goes:

Weaver, Broodmother, bristle back, Centaur Warrunner , Dark Seer, Slark, clockwork, Timbersaw, Phoenix, omni knight, Bounty Hunter, Windranger, abbadon, Alchemist, Mirana, Queen of Pain, Kunkka, Axe, tuskar, Sniper, Lone Druid. Meepo and juggernaught (I spelt it wrong I know) can be played solo offlane, but its pretty situational and depends on what you come up against

Hope this Helped

One of my favorite offlaners is Beastmaster. With his Inner Beast Aura he pretty much pushes the lane without trying and is pretty durable and has a good source of damage. my number 1 tip for the offlane is having a lot of Tangoes. That extra regen is always important when dealing with a 2v1 situation.
