WTF, how to defend? (ES blocking)

So, I knew this was a thing, but I hadn't actually seen it since dota 1.

ES blocks up 3 waves of creep with an Axe to soak up the oncoming ones under tower. We tried attack them, but by the time they release, its a mass of creeps taking our T1 at 2:45 into the game.

How to defend against this ****? ><

I'd say get all the creeps to attack you then drag them back towards your other towers that they can't destroy. If they run into creeps then they should continue on. Get ready for the next wave?

Take their tower, they have no creeps to defend it. If they try to defend the tower, kill or zone them out, you have creeps to soak up tower fire and the guys alone.

When the dam does break, pull the creep wave past the T1 into the invulnerable T2. AOE spells will also help clear it up.

if you keep in mind that YOU are getting 0 exp, taking a tower or killing the enemy solo hero (especially if it is axe) under the tower will be very very difficult to achieve. Unless you get in some support from the other lanes when the creepwave is finally released, level 1 aoe spells will achieve next to nothing ...unless there is a Keeper of the Light involved maybe.

Hope you have a Gyrocopter carry and watch him farm. Best thing, after you'll realize it's happening Jamie sure your teammates realize it's happening so they can tp to defend the push. Destroy the other teams tier 1 ASAP and rotate out, make them pay for shenanigans, gank other lanes, or double pull the safe lane to at least get some gold and xp. Stack and farm etc. Just be active as ES is blocking, remember he's not getting levels. This hasn't happened to me in awhile, thankfully last it did I was playing Timbersaw.
Also a note: if it happens and you're a carry, the massive xp and gold denial at first will hurt, it may be in your best interest to save for a Midas to recover, just get CS with support help in the jungle, and clear what you can.

You run up to that spot, you cut a tree.Then watch their plan ruined, ES having level 1 for half of the game.Even if you die, it was worth it.Though you should not, ES always out of mana and only having fissure.

ok tried doing that last night after watching the game you posted ... managed to trap 4 waves on my first go and took the tower down in 4 mins .... i couldnt stop laughing haha their wraithking rage quit after 8 mins... i got 7 waves on my second try and took tier 2 at 16 min, then they started getting wise and shutting me down by moving through the radiant secret shop and going for me directly.

and they tp'd in for defense of towers as a team.

they pulled the creep wave into neutrals.

they pushed other towers heavily.

yes it was funny, yes it works but it put me at a level disadvantage early and though i got the gold required for my build the xp difference was too great.

this is easily countered at the 4 min mark by everyone tp in and defend the tower then counter push.

still, ... i laughed for a good 10 mins haha

When considering counters, pick Bristleback. any questions consult: Quill Spray+brislteback farm the mass of creeps with your back turned, while trying not to smash in your 'W' key. Pick up early Sacred Relic and allow Earthshaker to block while you finish Radiance. Seriously, did it today, idk why nobody ever considered Ganking the bristle that was free farming 4 waves simultaneously and crushing their T1 tower..not saying I'm complaining.
Bristleback is still not as cool as Armadon was in HoN #truth

i once saw this done in a competitive game. but the enemy team had a dark seer waiting who just cast 1 ion shell to pull the creeps away and he got a lot of gold and XP from that, so their plan backfired and they lost.
