Yes I am, why would I waste gold getting 4 drums? If I really wanted drums I'd just buy one and spend the gold elsewhere. Why don't you get that?

I think you are being biased.

*Note the components of Linkens Sphere and Skadi

Ultimate Orbs - 2100

How? I did the math for the cost of 4 drums, the auras don't stack and you're also wasting slots. How is that biased?

Yeah they're expensive but that's what Medusa needs to be strong. She needs a lot of farm and for some reason you don't get that, Drums are a good early game item not for mid-late game.

I just want to add that the biggest criticism I have of my all stat approach is in being able to spend off all mana on spells that are higher cost then the soul ring range...

So a large mana pool where you can spend off all mana on 200 or so costing spells....

hmmm....

It seems like the biggest criticism I have of my own all stat approach is in not getting an ultimate orb....

So with an ultimate orb, would you be capable of spending off mana well enough on high mana spells that an all stat approach would work?

*Mana just seems to be the most significant factor in getting an all stat approach to work at the utmost effectiveness.

The stronger the items get the more expensive it becomes, the price for stat ratio becomes bad but you also save slots. You're limited to 6 slots, 1 usually left to boots, the other 5 to items that increase the power of the hero you're playing or items that offer utility. This makes farming on semi/hard carries like Medusa, crucial for their success.

Ironically you're being closed minded yourself

Ultimate orb is an item leading to one of the more expensive items, Drum of Endurance is one of the most cost efficient items that you can buy early game. Why waste close to additional 7k gold for 4 additional drums, if you're a Medusa farming all game, you want the expensive items like Eye of Skadi to be strong midlate - late game. That's the price you pay for the power you get so I'm not sure why you still insist on getting 4 additional drums.

In closer examination I see that the Eye of Skadi requires no Recipe to complete...

Which has just shined light on how it could be worth while to go eye of skadi over the drum approach...

So much so that it has me thinking about 4-5 eye of skadis... lmfao.

*But you still isn't much... with multiple drums it's not bad at all...kind of get what you pay for with the drums as 4 charges on such a short team effect

Wait, wait... I'm looking at the linken's sphere here and it says that it blocks most spells once every 20 seconds...

Does this mean it can kinda be stacked, even to a certain degree like A daedalus?

Multple drums is bad, the auras don't stack, you're wasting slots and gold that could of went to stronger items. Even if the price per ratio is bad on stronger, higher priced items than Drums, wasting gold on items that doesn't make you that much stronger is pointless. Will the drums help you survive a barrage of nukes or auto-attacks? Will it help you deal more damage? Will you be able to win the late game for example if you're Medusa with 4 drums? How about mid game? Answer is no.

Linkens effect do not stack and if you really wanted the charges from Drums, then just replenish it, it'll be far cheaper in both the short and long term compared to 4-5 drums. It's like talking to a brick wall, where's the bulldozer?
