guys im currently constructing a guide on how and why item and skill builds are situational and how why and when they shouldnt be.... i.e. faceless support new meta....just ...no ...no
for example how a spell intensive enemy team necessitates a pipe/orchid or a maxed silence skill.
or a high dps team needs a high armour or disarm item build these builds are required based upon the game situation. and how some others are based upon the hero themselves and what is a necessity for them.
also how certain heroes lane'd in certain lanes require a changed skill/item build and why some heroes should change their builds/lanes.
also how different items are situational on time periods and what items arent, i.e. Vanguard on axe.
just needing some help from different source since i DONT KNOW IT ALL OK GOD WHY DO YOU PUT THIS PRESSURE ON ME JEZZZ!!!... *ahem* anyway
so far my examples are this
Slark his item builds and his lane builds his situational builds
silencer items and skills so forth so forth
wind ranger blah blah blah
Mirana yup yup yup.
now any help on this subject would be appreciated and you will be credited.
(with tiny little font like this)
...
maybe you have ideas on a certain hero that changes builds a lot??

I see Leshrac as a good example of this. You can end up needing to prioritize any of his 3 basic Spells 1st depending on the game, i.e. Split Earth when you need control, or as a follow up to another AoE Disable, Diabolic Edict when you want to punish Roamers (it's significantly less effective in a Lane ad you only need 1 or 2 points to Push a Tier 1 Tower as you should never Push it by yourself), or Lightning Strike for when you want AoE Damage, Pushing powa or Counter-Push. It's even quite debatable as to when you'd level his Ult! 8{D
As for Items, that depends on whether you're a Core or a Support, and even then, you should be building for your Team, so his "ideal" Item Build changes from game to game....although Urn of Shadows + Eul's Scepter of Divinity FTW!!! <}3
I think I discussed this recently, but I also hate Weavers, Morphlings, etc. who build Linken's Sphere when a Black King Bar negates everything that a Linken's would. It is NOT a Core Item and you should NOT buy it for it's Stats. You should buy it IF the other Team has some sort of Magic Immunity ignoring Skill, lik Doom or Fiend's Grip that would otherwise mess you up in Teamfights. Keep running out of Mana for Shukuchi? Learn to manage your Mana people! -_-
Hand of Midas is another obvious Situational Item, I'm sure you already know about it though, just remember to put it in the guide. <}3
One thing I've never understood is that some people prefer Force Staff over Blink Dagger on Supports. I'm not saying Force Staff is bad, but it's really only for when you feel your Allies need some help escaping from something, e.g. Sprout, Cogs, etc. Blink Dagger lets you chase, land Ults in the middle of the other Team and, believe it or not, it will sometimes help you escape Situations where a Force Staff would not be enough, you just have to be careful not to go too deep if you want to escape afterwards.
Then, there's my most hated of Items, Bloodstone. This is quite nice on some Heroes, but it's a huge investment that could have gone into a Scythe of Vyse. Granted, it will make you Tankier and give you more Mana (as well as a Deny), but is that really as useful as a 3.5 second Hex? or any other options?
There's also Casual Cloaks instead of Hood of Defiance] when you aren't building a [[Pipe of Insight, Mekansm on Cores rather than Supports, Stout Shields on Melee Cores (with a few exeptions), Blademail is for Tanks only, limitations of Battle Fury, Orbs and how they stack (or don't), Drum of Endurance for early fights, etc. etc. etc.
