so i have been doing coaching for as of yet a roster of 4. i coach 3 newbies and 1 team. As of yet the funny thing is that it hasnt just changed them it has also changed me!

They say purchase it early to keep ahead but the you will play passively and some say purchase it when you're behind. This item is ****ing controversial. What's your opinion ?

Huskarrrrr!

So I had this game as Husk, and I destroyed mid, ganked bottom, ganked top, you may notice I had a stupid amount of kills... especially since I lost.

Now I obviously made mistakes, forgot about rubberband and dove too far once or twice, but overall that wasn't the reason for our failure--It was Tiny

(This post is not to flame him, just to provide an example--please do not blow me up with comments about "IT TAKE EVRY1 2 WIN GAEM OF DOTO." I know it does, again it's an example)

Anyways, so I was roaming around the map, gettin kills, but i made sure to only come to Tinys lane when he needed help against heroes so I wouldn't stifle his farm, and I left him our jungle. But the man was just not getting gold. He missed last hits, he didn't seem to use his mana effectively to farm, he just wasn't raking in dat money. Because of this we were unable to press our advantage, Spectre got farmed, blah blah blah the usual comeback stuf this patch.

I felt a little silly when I clicked the 'Ranked Match' option. Not because the idea of me playing in Ranked mode is inherently hilarious, mind you (though for some of you, it surely is), but because as I was waiting for the queue to pop I couldn't help but feel nervous.

As much as I love to think about this game, study its complexities, and rage at the rampant ineptitude of both myself and my friends (typically just myself), it is, at the end of the day, just a game. The fact that there were butterflies in my stomach is a little embarrassing, I think.

But hey, on the flip side: free Butterfly. Can't argue with that.

A full three and a half minutes later I finally get into a game. Graciously, all 10/10 connect on the first try, so I can't give into the temptation to close the game and hide. #Prettypathetic.

Dang right it has. What's your excuse this time, eh? Still job, girlfriend, and the like?

Well that. But also Guild Wars 2! It's super fun! I have a little guild called Mahou Shoujo Fight Club (the tag is [chan]!) and everything is super relaxed and casual.

My five man team has recently come together and we are a group of people who come from all areas of skill and we would like to be able to go up against another team so that we can get a feel for the way that we stack up against other real teams instead of different groups of random pubs. This one is a little more ranty boiz.

Valve, I just find it hard to believe that you can't do ANYTHING because SOURCE 2 IS COMING. You can't give us a new patch

(although thankfully I like this one for the most part)

, you can't give us new heroes, you can't update models for a lot of them, you can't give us events..

Oh wait, you did give us that Year Beast event that was complete garbage...and a PA event that was even more deserving of being put in a landfill. We want Diretide or Frostivus or Wraith Night or something good

Now don't get me wrong I fully understand that it would be building a game mode from scratch which is a pain but... Suck it up Valve

You made like $$$30 MILLION USD$$$ on the compendiums last year, and it took you 6 months to deliver on all the promises you made.

I guess I just feel like you're being lazy. And I know Source 2 is close now, but I don't know if that will fix your slowness on giving us what we want and what the game needs.

My little project has progressed sufficiently that I feel it is acceptable to speak of it.

What have I done?

Well, quite a lot actually. I've written down a large chunk of the story in case I ever forget it and continue to write it today. I've created a few other Heroes as well, to keep Anya company in her long journey.

The World

The setting has been fleshed out further. It is decidedly NOT in the Warcraft universe, albeit in one similar.

The known world is ruled by a human kingdom and a line of strong kings. Most of the other species of the world - gnolls, kobolds, minotaurs and the like - seem content with this, as no faction expresses outward hostility towards others. However, tragedy has struck - the king has died, leaving his infantile son too young to rule. To this extent, the king's close friend Lord Sandrus has been appointed as the Regent. For several years I was completely immersed in following college and professional sports. I could tell you stats, names, schedules, and trades for year after year.

But then all of the sudden I was immune to it. I only saw it as this continual cycle of wins, losses, trades, and scandals(by no means am I bashing the following of sports, just sharing my experience with it). I couldn't get an interest going in it, so my attention gradually shifted toward games--eventually leading to DotA.

Since grabbing my attention, dota has held it firmly. But why?

Balance Patches.

These amazing things allow us to play vastly different games than those of the previous patch were, and the next patch will cause things to be just as different. Sure those strategies can rollover a bit and still be effective, but here's to hoping TI5 will be waaaay better that its predecessor. And if it is, we will have balance patches to thank for it.

Bloodseeker has a very simple but effective combo after you get to level 6. Even beginners can do this combo.
First, use Rupture (R). They will attempt to run away until they realize that they lose health.
Second, use Blood Rite. They won't move because they will lose more from moving than from the Blood Rite. But the damage is just a small part. The main part is the silence. They can't use any abilities.
Third, ATTACK! They will fight back, but they will be silenced for a little, so if you have any idea how to right click, then you get an easy kill.
WARNINGS
Beware of enemies attacking you while you attack them. If your too focused on the one guy, then you can be easily ambushed.
But this combo basically guarantees a kill unless you have an extreme level disadvantage.
I hope that you will succeed in getting kill after kill with this combo!
