Eye of Skadi: Exiled?

Really it's too expensive for a core and people usually go for cheaper orbs like HotD and Mjollnir. It's just just is too expensive if you don't get enuff farm

Its a very nice orb but it IS very expensive.
I like to pick up an orb of venom on some heroes that i do not need another orb effect for and if i have a good early/mid game i will upgrade it to a skadi for an even better slow.
Also it gives pretty goot stats, but the 2 ultimte orb buildup can be really hard if you are not doing well.

Just thought I'd mention that the Skadi effect stacks with Lifesteal on Melee and Ranged heroes in Dota 2. :D

I'm hoping to see it more. I now build it on Venomancer because lets face it, he's even more annoying with 2 slows per auto attack which slows them to a crawl is amazing.

Chinese morphlings used to rush it after bottle/bkb. It's good for heroes that need tank, stats, and have trouble sticking.

I consider it viable on Morphling, Spectre, Terrorblade, LD, and CK, but it can work on more.

Eye of Skadi works incredibly well on Lone Druid after you've farmed a Radiance for BooBoo.

That's because manta style is better and cheaper haha :)
might be worth while on clinx if you can farm it, as it stacks with his searing arrows :D

I used to see it alot on Mirana, if and only if she wasn't going for Manta Style. But now it's so uncommon to see it. It kinda makes me sad...

I've seen a friend get 3 Attack Modifiers on an Ancient Apparition: Eye of Skadi, Satanic and Mjollnir. But then again he is crazy.

cold attack is amazing - but the cost isn't worth it.
You could get Scythe of Vyse for the same price? already a better item for both QOP and FURION
Shadow Blade and Yasha OR HoD for sniper, both items already more beneficial that EOS.
there's just too many solid items that you can get for the same price it is that simple.
I don't know why anyone would get an OES on a support like Lich when you can get an aganims and still have 1k left over? you should be getting support items like a mech and wards.
if you're an agi carry, why get EOS when you could have a buttefly?

if you are going to experiment - try EOS on syllabear - great item whether you're range or melee type, with basher on both syla and the bear.. :)

I'm still going to fiddle about with it on heroes to see whether it can add to mid and late game presence. The cold attack is indeed a powerful modifier which slows movement speed and attack speed. I'll also test the viability with Eye of Skadi on melee heroes.
