And the most underrated Late Game Support item catched my attention. Why mostly of guides for support heroes written don't add Vladmir's Offering as a situational item? It's cheap and scales late game. Let's face the fact that mostly of supports are Ranged but lets rephrase the word "support". Any suggestions of Supports/Carries that good carriers of Vladmir's Offering it would be greatly appreciated :)
While I agree supports should try to pick up this item when possible, it's often very difficult for them for various reasons:
1) Cost - with warding all game, buying detection and minimal farm, it's tough to save up 2K. The parts don't really help them much either, most are int heroes anyway so the regen in minimal and the lifesteal pointless. Would rather have HP than armour until late game.
2) Space - often supports will have wards, detection equipment, a TP scroll and boots in their inventory. That leaves 2 slots for anything else they might need - e.g. Ghost Scepter, Force Staff, Aghs, Blink, Urn, Medallion etc.
3) Some of their core heroes might not be melee, or may already have lifesteal equipment.
For carries, the issue again is space, and that other items may well suit them better. Sometimes you'll see it on the likes of Ursa, Lycan etc. Even if you start with a Ring of Basilius it can be difficult to justify against other carry type items.
I tend to favour it as a pickup for your #3 tanky utility/initiator/aura carrier types. They can afford it, survive long enough for it to be effective, and can benefit from it to some degree.

Sucks to be that guy.
