Armlet vs. Basher

Armlet or Basher?

To clear up confusion, just overall.

When you do get it on a hero which do you find more effective? Most fun to play with? Most value for price?

There is no 'or'. What hero, what situation, what matchup blah blah.


Personal opinion on the item.
Armlet can be extremely good because of toggling making you extremely survivable. Personally in not that amazing at it and kinda dislike the HP drain so i never get it on heroes who cant regen their HP quickly like slardar and sven.

Basher, i never have this item for that long because i pretty much always upgrade it after i get it ASAP.

Only person I get armlet on is Lifestealer. He pretty much negates the downside of armlet.

I honestly don't know, it depends on the matchups.... However, I'd have to say I personally use basher more

On what hero specifically?

Usually a hero with good regen and can benefits a lot from STR, armor, attack speed and damage can get omlet, like Wraith King, Lifestealer, and Legion Commander.

Basher is better if a hero is lack of stun and hit a lot, like Phantom Assassin, Slark, and even Windranger due to the recent updates.

P.S: I don't know how to vote, basically the question is like asking "Left or Right?" But, the answer will always be Batman.

Staying on topic, I believe Basher is more late-game oriented, while Armlet tends to fall - being better during mid-game. They also are designed for different heroes - not every hero that can get a Basher can use an Armlet effectively, and vice versa.

I don't get the question. The two are completely different items that do completely different things and is useful for completely different heroes.
