Get an aoe monster( Jakiro, Sand King, etc.) to go into an abandoned lane and soak up xp. When they're Level 6, jump in and murderize the enemy team.
Well, they did have a Necro 8{3
Given the picks and their rather obvious strategy, you have 3 options
a) Use Necrophos to carefully slow down Pushes while your Team tries to take Towers at the same time
b) Fight them right from the get-go with an Aggressive Tri-Lane
c) Focus on Farming, let them take your Tier 1 Towers and try to outFarm and recover
The solution?
b) Aggresive Tri-Lane
The downside is, that Nature's Prophet and Pugna will be able to stay in Lane against Morphling and Necrophos respectively. The upside is that they will striggle to even take teh Tier 1s this way.
Both Necrophos and Morphling can Flash Farm with thier 1st Skills, so Pushes can be Slowed down, and if either of them get cocky enough to try and force a Push, a TP from Skywrath Mage can make them regret it.
Even better, they have absolutely ZERO ability to fight back against an Aggro-Tri-Lane. What's Beastmaster going to do when you jump on Luna?...Spam Whirling Axes? and Summon Hawk? 8{3
Don't feel that you need Skywrath Mage to be there for long, he can easily Roam and Pressure the Profit into a Loss even give Pugna somethig to worry about (just be careful not to Spam while under Nether Ward). Silencer can easily make Luna and Beastmaster's lives hell by draining their Mana.
Long story short, you could have won with those Picks, you just lacked in execution. Try running a few Aggressive Tri-Lanes and next time you come across a Lineup like that, you'll have a LOT of fun! >8{D

Can Xyrus ever draft without including an aggro tri? :3
honestly the easiest way to counter 5 man push is just to simply counter pick them next time it happens (if there is a next time). 5 man push, mass push, aura push, and just pushing lineups in general are extremely easy to counter pick from early on in the drafting phase. Heroes such as Zeus, Axe, Tinker, Keeper of the Light, Juggernaut, Brewmaster, Undying, and Pugna can all deal with push fairly well from early on in the game. As the game drags out and the enemy pushing begins to intensify, heroes with cleave type attacks such as Kunkka, Sven, and Gyrocopter (special mention to Magnus) can counter push just as effectively.
