Players in Ranked?

So the other day one of my friends invited me to play some ranked games, and I don't usually play ranked but I figured I'd go and try some out. The results were... amazing! I don't think I have ever played with a team which actually communicates properly and plays well, and doesn't flame me if I make stupid mistakes. So, did I just get lucky, or are players in ranked significantly nicer to play with? (i played 3 matches btw, all with good teams who worked together, ganked properly, helped me get kills, gave me tips, told me who would be good to pick etc.)

I think it depends, but it's mostly luck, honestly. If you by luck get in a mmr level that is really what fits you the most, you'll be happy there then, I guess. But you won't always find nice teams whatsoever. If you're happy with your mmr you'll be happy there:)

it happened to me once... *sobs uncontrollably into his keyboard*

but then it went back to normal. flamers ragers idiots and douches.

*wipes tears away then looks off into the distance with a steel hatred filled gaze*

i had 7 games of pure bliss...which i won. i was so close to my 3k mmr :(

then ...then ...

it went back to normal.

i now stop my ranked search at 2:30.

if i havent found a game by 2:30 i stop and go pubs.

every game where i was in the "Goldilocks zone" was by getting a game before the 2:30 mark.


enjoy it while it last bukan .... enjoy it while it lasts...

I have the occasional good team but for me the majority of ranked games feature abysmal players and *******s.
Unranked games are much more enjoyable for me.

I know we played more games but I can't seem to find them. I remember you saying to me "I never know that we were playing ranked".

I didn't forget, and yeah, at the time I didn't realise we were playing ranked. I don't really remember what the teams were like but I do remember you carried us to victory!



OH NO, this means I can't have good teams forever? :/

Well I certainly enjoyed the games, although we lost two of them, I certainly enjoyed being able to co-operate and have some fun with my team.

Oh well, I'll keep track of how many games I manage to have with good teams, and report back to you :s

I'll stop playing ranked. These stupid mongrels just piss me off too much. Carries don't carry and someone manages to go 1-11 on razor.
And the hero picks: Let's either not pick a carry or no support. Both are so fun to play.

You'll find people who instapick new Heroes, people who play Heroes for the 1st time, people who still build Battle Fury on Juggernaut and Phantom Assassin, russians/peruvians/etc. who refuse to speak English even though they have it selected in their language options, etc. etc. etc.

lol, this reminds me of the last Ranked game where I didn't realise it was Ranked until after the fact...I still can't believe he randomed Riki in Ranked ._.
