Favourite hero role

I tend to prefer playing as Support heroes most of the time, as I know I don't have the skill to carry a team to victory with lots of kills, so I can support those who can. Plus it's more satisfying to save a teammate from almost certain death than it is to kill an opponent for me (most of the time, unless it's a Pudge).

I've been branching out a bit, trying more Carry/Tank heroes, but I generally just keep coming back to Support, and recently have been enjoying playing Dazzle and Treant Protector.

What role do you prefer/play the most?

probaly carry since its my best role. i ended up playing it a lot since most of my friends play support most of the time.

i also enjoy offlaners and initiators, the challange of doing well against multiple heroes can be very fun, unless you end up against some trilane with bane and mirana as supports.
and jumping in peoples faces with blink dagger is very fun.

I almost exclusively play Support heroes, the only exceptions are Tidehunter and Enigma. Even then i sometimes play them as #4's...

Out of the option, i would say a roaming #4 is my favorite role though. Someone like Earthshaker is so amazingly fun when you successfully get kills because of your fissures. Very fun hero. But even a roaming Lion, Ogre Magi, Skywrath Mage... These are great fun to play at all stages of the game.

There is a lot of fun to be had as a #5 as well though. Especially in the more tactical games. If your warding/dewarding bag's you a couple of kills that secures a Roshan into rax push it's very rewarding.

My favourite role by far is Solo Mid, #2 farm priority. I play that role well, and I love he heroes that fit in there. When I'm not playing mid, I usually go for Lane Support or Roaming Support, both #5 Farm Priority.

When I want to have fun, I go offlane.

Mine changes a lot - I used to be a solo-mid-Invoker-or-feed, but now my most played Heroes are generally (hard) carries. And if I do say so myself, I'm pretty good at farming so the role suits me.

Apart from that i like #4 heroes. notably Nyx Assassin

#4 and #5 maybe position #2 as well, but I dislike playing any hard carry.

I mainly play Crystal Maiden although I sometimes play Vengeful Spirit etc.

I enjoy being able to get and help earn kills early on without having to farm for a large amount of time.

now for real; Pos#1, #3 and #5. Which is quite odd if i think about it. Either i go into full farm mode or i dont care about farming at all and try to have some game impact (my farm prioirty for pos 3's depends on the hero tho).

i dont really like those "inbetweeners" considering farm-priority....i dont like playing mid and i NEVER play junglers
